Stepgar Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 but what about the competition? I had a quick scout and the only thing I could find was that Danny Cadamartari has gone to Hudddersfield. Anyone else notice the intent of our competition?
georgeweahscousin Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 There wasn't much at all. The biggest transfer news of this window for League One, besides Austin going was teams holding on to their players. Us. Brighton - Bennett. Huddersfield - Pilkington. P'Boro - CMS
S-Clarke Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Sheffield Wednesday were probably the most active, but Lee Cook turned them down at the last min yesterday.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Again, the lack of transfers in this window tells us NA and NC have done some excellent business.
Saint_John Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 The Rotten Fruit's Echo and Radio Solent are reporting that Bartley (good player - anchor man in midfield) when to Burnley. http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/8823886.Cherries__Mitchell_slams_Howe_and_Burnley/ However this doesn't appear on BBC or Sky so it might not have gone through in time. He will be a big miss for them.

S-Clarke Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Wednesday signed Osbourne from Villa yesterday. What's he like? No idea. The only clip they managed to show of him on SSN was when he passed the ball back to his keeper and nearly gave it away.
wild-saint Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Wednesday signed Osbourne from Villa yesterday. What's he like? well no one has heard of him so he must be shyte and im sure everyone at SWFC are very underwhelmed. Anyone note the hint of sarcasm there? Saint_clark Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Huddersfield are weaker. Everyone else is a little big stronger. We have strengthened more than anyone else.

beatlesaint Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Solent confirm that Bournemouth did a deal with Burnley so they will be weaker. Well done Eddie - walk out on them then 10 days later kick them in the teeth again !
saintrich Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Garner, Carey, Croft gone back from loan. Sold Robinson to Millwall. I wouldn't say losing any of them would make them weaker as neither garner, croft or Robinson were first team/didn't make an impact when they did play. Jordan Rhodes ankle injury for at least three weeks however...

Jordan Rhodes ankle injury for at least three weeks however... Of course it has. If we lost Martin, Connolly, Dickson and Gobern without replacing them, it would make us weaker - and they've made less of an impact on our team than the ones Huddersfield lost. Big Bad Bob Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Huddersfield are weaker. Everyone else is a little big stronger. We have strengthened more than anyone else. Charlton have signed a defender from Leeds, Federico Bessone, and have lost a striker (down their pecking order) to Hibs whom they have replaced with BW-P and Nathan Ecclestone. Posh have signed 6 players on loan or permanent deals, including Paul Jones I would be more worried about Charlton's signing TBH BTW you can see all the moves here

Big Bad Bob Posted 1 February, 2011 Share Posted 1 February, 2011 Adkins has done exactly the same! Err, no. He didn't tap the player up in the background and then present it to S****horpe as a fait accompli and then get the player to throw a hissy fit and say he won't play for the club again if he doesn't go....
