SO16_Saint Posted 24 April, 2011 Author Share Posted 24 April, 2011 I know... Get all 6 numbers and you win the lottery.... But still - a promotion is a promotion. Never had one in my lifetime. A wembley win and promotion in 2 seasons ain't bad
Liquidshokk Posted 24 April, 2011 Share Posted 24 April, 2011 Anyone else had to pinch themselves when they look at the table. Been a long time since I've witnessed promotion being such a possibility and it's quite hard to believe. Oh how we'll party hard if we make it up in 2nd. Ewell Posted 24 April, 2011 Share Posted 24 April, 2011 Unlike the OP I just hope the management and players are fully focussed on tomorrow’s game. It is a banana skin and a half and the 3 points are a must. One game at a time please people!

No. That's something you do when you can't believe what's happening. As I've said before, it was never guaranteed we'd get in the position we're in and shouldn't be taken for granted imo. After waiting for promotion for so long it wouldn't be wrong to find it hard to believe we're in second, regardless of the league.

VectisSaint Posted 24 April, 2011 Share Posted 24 April, 2011 Arsenal haven't been promoted since 1904. They're not worried by this lack of success. Actually watching them this afternoon they actually are very worried by this lack of success. Their supporters and their manager are possibly some of the most miserable feckers ever known. A few seasons without a trophy and they look like they should be on suicide watch, ungrateful bar stewards. They were even miserable when they beat us at Cardiff. Saint Posted 24 April, 2011 Share Posted 24 April, 2011 Hartlepool at home gave us a scare last season. It was a pretty scrappy Tuesday night game but we ground out a win. Definitely a banana skin but Hartlepool have nothing to play for. They can't go up or down. That's not to say they won't want an upset though. Dr Who? Posted 24 April, 2011 Share Posted 24 April, 2011 We SHOULD win the 2 home games (SHOULD) then all we need is 1 win out of the last 2 away games, and this is IF Huddersfield win ALL 3 games. Now watch us lose tomorrow just to keep it going right to the wire!! COYS!!!
