Veho Products....

It seems that the products are flying off the shelves in both the 'megastore' and West Quay.

I purchased the last 'red Saints' smartstick + Capsule today from west quay.

It seems a very good product, ironic as I had never heard of Veho previously.

On Twitter there is nothing but praise for products and the way Steve Lewis, founder and CEO, interacts with anyone that asks inc myself.Reason being is he is an avid Southampton fan. He must be loving the increase in revenue.

All very refreshing.

I wonder if any other recent sponsor has made such a positive impact.

I agree their products are of the more relevant to many, but still.

Anyone else on here made a purchase?

Haven't purchased anything yet but do know Steve and can confirm he is a top bloke. Genuine 100% Saints fan, saw him in the West Quay store on Saturday surveying the sea of shirts with his business, which he built from scratch, plastered all over them. He's struggling to wipe the smile off his face atm!

Used to work for RED5 (the gadget shop opposite the Saints Store in WestQuay) - they've sold Veho products for years. I've had both the PEBBLE Smartstick and the M4 speaker for a couple of years now. Portable chargers are pretty common now, and there's nothing that really sets the PEBBLE apart from the rest (apart from maybe it's size - it's long and thin as opposed to the typical brick-like designs). The M4, however, is brilliant: plays music via Bluetooth, SD card or AUX cable and is bloomin' loud for such a tiny speaker. Would definitely recommend it to everyone and anyone.

Some Tech info for those of you planning to buy the phone chargers.

Check the mAh rating and output Voltage!

I took 3 back up units to Glasto. 2 I bought for 10 quid each from a street stall in Bangkok cost me 10 quid each but rated at 8800mAh. One was "proper" that I won and was 2200mAh. The 2200 only had a 1A output. It only charged an IPhone ONCE.

The two cheap krap had twin outputs. My HTC needed 2A output. It charged my phone 4 times but the second one also charged my Mates IPhones 4 times using the 1A output

Veho - nice branding but a gazillion other Chinese Vendors make the same stuff a lot cheaper. Buy to Support Saints & our Sponsor but.....

CHECK the Specs first

Veho chargers have pretty good reviews but I'd go for Anker. Astro E3 floats the Goat's boat. Soz Veho.

Was really disappointed when people were "underwhelmed" by this sponsor

This is exactly what we should be doing. Unless Sony or some other mammoth company offer us mega bucks. Having a local, up and coming, pretty cool company/brand is what it is all about.

Miles better than having SUPERCASINO.com on our shirts for an extra million

You always seem to post on threads about Veho. Interesting that.

Likewise! Steve seems a top bloke (albeit purely based on a few tweets exchanged). However when it comes down to a choice between the 10,000 mAh Anker E3 at £21.99 and the 3,000 mAh Veho Pebble at £19.99, you'd have to be desperate for the smaller dimensions to chose the device with less than a third of the storage capacity.

Charged my phone each night at Sonisphere (so 4 times) and still came away with 25% battery in the E3.

100% agreed. Soo glad we don't have another bullsh*tbet.cr*p sponsored kit!

Just a couple of things about the Veho Pebble Chargers. There is a over 20 products in the range from 2200mAh rating up to 13000 mAh (which will charge a laptop) so if it's a higher acting you are after there is plenty to choose from. Veho use very high grade lithium cells from Samsung in all their Pebbles and are true to their mAh rating, a lot of the generic Chinese lithium battery chargers are either under spec, poor quality or dangerous. A poor quality battery will mean less charging cycles and poor power retention. At Veho we do try to balance a high quality product at a good price. Obviously I am biased :)

Do season ticket holders get 10% discount on Veho products at the Saints shop?

According to the Retail Assistant at St Marys yesterday, you do not get discount on the Veho products!

I was looking at that on the online store. What is the sound quality and max volume like?

Sound is great, really clear right up to max volume which is pretty loud for a small device.

Really pleased with this item, has rubber mounts so doesn't vibrate on hard surfaces, and looks nice too. Highly recommended.

Interesting that Veho, a lifestyle company who deals in 'cool' are going with last years classy monotone club badge rather than the multi colored puke stain that Wreck it Ralph reintroduced this year.

Have you just referred to the club crest, which has remained nigh-on unchanged for forty years (new football in 90's, 125th anniversary badge, one season as gold/white) and is the only club crest Southampton FC has ever had, as a "multicoloured puke stain"?

That, right there, is outing yourself as a Skate. Utterly and completely, no other explanation.

Go **** your self...I was a Saints fan before the kiddies crayoning competition winning entry was thrust on us....Wasn't to keen on it back then and every 'tweak' it's had since has made it look more and more tin pot....It ****ing makes my eye's bleed it truly does.

My little black speaker with the crest in it came today. Surprised how tiny it was but beautiful sound reproduction and surprisingly good bass despite its size.

I'm still amazed by bluetooth streaming as I'm old - all witchcraft to me you know ;)

If you have an iPad with films on (I know following your comments I could have stepped into the twilight zone) you should also get a better viewing experience with the sound blue toothed through it................. And as for Saints You Tube channel listen to Ronald's very first interview, Wow! It sounds even more like it was recorded in the public toilet than it did through little device speakers!! :D

Went to the science museum yesterday in London, walked into the extremely extravagant 'gift shop' and the first thing I see is quite an impressive Stand by veho selling their products

It was swarmed by tourists...pebbles,Muvi and Bluetooth speakers flying off the shelves.......whatever Saints got for sponsorship was never enough.

Steve Lewis must be laughing all the way to the bank ......another Prestige motor on the way methinks.
