Minsk Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 No Rudi today, as he has picked up "injury" training this week.... Really.....What a suprise... Who will be next to have the sudden "injury"....Saga anyone? I wasn't at all surprised to hear about Rudi's 'injury picked up in training' either, especially after his comments about too many kids this week. I wonder if the 'injury' was caused by a baseball bat wielding head coach or chairman? I did notice that Wotton has reappeared in the squad though. Maybe he made up with Jan by 'injuring' Rudi? There is just soooo much we are not told.
eelpie Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 So he will miss three matches in a row due to suspension. How convenient for Rupert.

Professor Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 More paranoia - some people just have to look for something negative to say about the club, the staff or the players. Hard to understand why the motive of following Saints if it causes so much misery!!
um pahars Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 (edited) Hard to understand why the motive of following Saints if it causes so much misery!! Because that's what your football team is all about. One game/month/season things can be brilliant and you're shouting from the rooftops and dancing in the street (or kitchen), the next minute you're down in the depths of despondency. You win games you're not supposed to win and you lose games you never should have. Football is an emotional game, a game where everyone's personal opinion is right (except yours when it comes to thinking DMG will score if he gets the service!!!). Winning spreads confidence, success breeds success, whereas losing fills people with despondency and you get to thinking where the next win will come from. But supporters are the eternal optimists despite their sometimes negative/realistic ourbursts which are always heartfelt. We always believe that despite being in the shi77yt at any particular point in time, there is always a that chance we could win the next game, turn this all around next month, start afresh next season, get a new manager in and go storming up the league. Being despondent, ****sed off, negative, realistic is as much a part of being a football supporter as being overyoyed, surprised, ecstatic and optimistic. Being exposed to all those emoitions and sharing them with others is what being a football supporter is all about and sometimes you have to experience the worst just to be able to appreciate the best. It all just depends where today sits in the lifetime existence of your Club. Edited 10 January, 2009 by um pahars
Nexstar Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 Glad rudi is out, can't say he's been atall great this season. Molyneux - - - Perry - -- Saeijs --- James Looks a good defence, just a shame we don't have a proper right back, but atleast lancashire isn't playing. We've had a defence that 'looks good' for about 6 seasons now. It's when they get on the pitch it goes pear shaped

I can't see Molyneux starting, has he even played a reserve game for us yet? I reckon we will stick Surman at left back again and play Wotton or Gillett next to Schneiderlin. Molyneux has had at least 2 weeks training with the team (no games for 2/3 months.....Pulis has had 3/4 months training with the team and can't even get in the squad anymore.....Well Gasmi..I give up. At least there is Smith and Holmes....Maybe we will have a stronger squad in Div 1 or 2. .....

ottery st mary Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 Indeed, i can't see Molyneux starting unless JP really rates him highly. Mind you others have gone straight in with very few games under their belt(not some?) but you can usually tell after 30 mins their fitness or even after 10 their ability...ali Dia and some recent loans of our come to mind. Let us hope the Everton boy is a footballer at least. We need a win to-day if game goes ahead. Keep up the support Andy, but please find some points from somewhere. saintsforlife7 Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 I wouldn't have Surman up against Jamal Campbell Ryce, Ryce rips us apart every time he plays against us and Surman has no pace to keep up with him, when Molyneux signed the O.S said pace is an asset of his, assuming it is, i'd throw him in just so he might be able to keep up with Ryce
aintforever Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 It's ****ing stupid if they are freezing Rudi out just because he has an opinion IMO. No doubt it is Adolf Lowe's descision.
lordswoodsaints Posted 10 January, 2009 Share Posted 10 January, 2009 i suspect rudi has got a repetitive strain injury from waving to the crowd too much instead of concentrating on the game.
