Chez Posted 12 January, 2009 Share Posted 12 January, 2009 let me add to the post win feel good factor. Jose Semedo - Charlton's best player when we played them at the Valley IMO - is out for two months. Won't make or break our surival but every little helps. I can only speak on behalf of the three who are good mates of mine but they seem horribly resigned to it, albeit they blame Pardew - think it's all his fault and understand the finances mean they're pretty much screwed. I think a fair few Saints fans are the same to be honest. Having said that all the great escapes are bound toi have rubbed off on even the most pessamistic fans. Pilchards Posted 12 January, 2009 Share Posted 12 January, 2009 Forest was the big one and diddle squat we was crap. I wont hold my breath that we are going to get anything out of the donny game because we are home and thats just it. Play in there away kit and get changed in the away dressing room then i would fancy our chances.

Saint Fan CaM Posted 12 January, 2009 Share Posted 12 January, 2009 Any change in the starting line-up from last week (other than to play proper 4-4-2 with Saga up front with BWP or Lallana) will see us lose IMO. But hey ho, I'll be there waiting for the 2nd home win. I think it has draw written all over it.
Saint Bones Posted 13 January, 2009 Share Posted 13 January, 2009 A Lee Holmes cracker early in the game to set the fans singing. Saint Bones Posted 13 January, 2009 Share Posted 13 January, 2009 OSM Scott made his debut just this weekend aginst the Tards ( Melb) and was my MOM. Cool as a cucumber and after a season of watching headless chickens try and defend ( Sound familar ?) it was a breath of fresh air to see someone with excellent positional ability. Is easily on a par with the best of our youngsters. Only having seen the one senior match to comment on but played as if he had played in the league for years. A defeniate potential. The Australian league also has the more physical side of things , so may adapt a bit easier. I'm looking forward to watching him play more often. Oh - he played RB by the way. Cheers as well - Didn't relise the connections.

Keep an eye for us...curious to see how he develops....Steve went out to play coach etc and was a young winger for Saints and looked a prospect at one time before moving onto Exeter, where he is still well thought of. I also see that Kevin ....Take No Prisoners Muscat is playing for The Glory... Used to chop people in half in the UK.....Oz player..If same guy. Be lucky and again Cheers. Saint Bones Posted 13 January, 2009 Share Posted 13 January, 2009 Ahh actually Muscat played agaiinst us this weekend. He is Captain of Melb, and yes nothing has change on that front. Pulled Eugene Dadi (Ex Tranmere) back when clear on goal this weekend.. how he stayed on the park let alone not give a free kick away is an indicative of how classy our ref's are. Certainly will. I know theres a few other Aussies online - I'm sure between us we can keep you updated on upcoming Aussie talent.
