Also still not sign of Jeremi Rodriguez who supposedly signed this summer. Will be interesting to see the U18s lineup tomorrow and whether he is on that.

Should keep this B Team thread for the season IMO as always good to follow progress.

JRod#2 remains a mystery.

Was going to start an Academy thread, but may as well stick with this one.

The game isnt till Sunday so he might still be included in the squad. Hoping he shines tonight :)

Scored tonight, but currently 1-3 down.

Will Ferry at left-back seems to be something we are trying this season.

U18s lost at home to Crystal Palace yesterday following a stoppage time winner

Cheers.  Missed this result.  Good start to the season for Babic.

Worth keeping an eye this season to see if any of this group make the B-team.

Good shout as he’s scored in both our B team matches.

It may be partly down to the limit on overage players.  The rules on who qualifies as an under 21 is different from the Premier League (more restrictive).

1.At least six of the starting eleven players must be aged under 21 as at 30th June 2020 (we've just met this rule as Ramsay, Tchaptchet, Ferry, Jankewitz, Chauke and Mitchell are all U21 according to that definition).  But Hesketh, Slattery, N'Lundulu, Valery and Lewis are not.  So in order to accommodate Sims one of these five over 21s would have had to be omitted.

AND

2.  No more than two players who are aged 21 or over at 30 June 2020 and have made 40 or more appearances in a First Team Fixture by 30 June 2020 are named in the 18.  As far as I can tell only Hesketh falls into that category (Sims would also if he'd been selected)

Any idea when the OS player info will be updated with the new kits?

Good to see that, belatedly, the B team profiles have been updated.  Ignoring loaned out players, most of the missing players are now included though no sign of Sam McQueen (injured) or Kingsley Latham (out on loan perhaps?),  and I'm surprised that Keogh and Defise are still showing in the U18 list (which more generally remains out of date).

Do you think Olufunwa is injured?  Out of date pic & don’t recall him playing yet.

I think he must be.  Wasn't he training with the first team at the end of last season, post lockdown?  There are a few players that don't appear to have featured in any matches this season.  These include  Latham,  McQueen (for obvious reasons), Burnett (who was offered an extended scholarship, presumably because he was injured last season so perhaps he still is or perhaps he didn't take up the offer), Olufunwa, Smales Braithwaite, Sam Bailey and Jack Turner.  Probably due to injuries in most cases.
