Probably a little too intellectual a podcast for a bloke who loves to quote Dan Hodges and watches Talk Tv admiring the commentator colossus that is Mike Graham.

Stewart's specific mention of Rochdale and Rotherham is reflective of the Times article, and he goes on to discuss the failures of the Police, the state, and local authorities, and the CPS. Taking a snippet out of context is poor form, especially on such an important issue.

Hey if that's what you want to think then you go for it. I'm neither Left nor Right. 

I've tried to keep an open mind about the GG scandal but if there's nothing to hide why did Starmer order Liebour mps to vote against the bill for a public enquiry and then abstain himself?

I'll listen to the podcast before commenting further.

Because there has already been one and they think another would be a waste of time and money which would be better off spent implementing the findings of the last one?

On topic - the other day Rory suggested Musk believed in the "Great Replacement Theory." Which would be big news if that were the case, as that would surely mean Musk may be in on it. Musk is a Zionist: he basically begged the AFD leader to support Israel the other night. Elon is supportive of H-1B visas. He actively supports Indian immigration into America. 

 

All this means, if Rory is correct (he's not), Elon not only believes in the Great Replacement, but is also playing his part in it through his support of both immigration and Israel. 

 

Or its a completely baseless claim. Like lots of the Rest is Politics' claims.

It could also be indicative of Musk’s poor mental health (self-confessed) and inconsistency created by his own views and the requirements of his businesses. Stewart does flip flop but then David Owen became a Brexiteer and Liz Truss was a Lib Dem. It may be the case that Musk sees some immigration as good and some bad based on his view.

I think he is ill, probably on drugs - based on the Wall Street Journals recent article. 

 

But no matter ones bias against him, as is inherent in the Rest is Politics, to accuse him essentially of believing in a fake Jewish conspiracy to replace white people is a tad extreme. Especially with no evidence to back it up.

As I say, whilst Stewart’s overall outlook is not dissimilar to mine overall, some of his expressions of it are not consistent and can be incoherent occasionally. FWIW I don’t think Musk does per se. A lot of MAGA folk do though, hence the tensions we have already seen.
