Yeah for FA Cup games it would extend into the Kingsland. The away bar is situated on the right hand side of the away concourse so they can't move the segregation into the Chapel.

Are members now able to buy home tickets ahead of season ticket holders being able to buy extra tickets - as a general rule? I recall it has been the other way around in past seasons.

Or maybe it's just this way around for these opening games, to encourage membership sales.

Do they only open the exchange once tickets sell out normally? I’m waiting on a ticket in the Northam to become available.

They usually do, won't have long to find out as there's only one £50 seat left in the KIngsland holding it up!

Edit: This sold out at the weekend, I can't see any mention of the 'Ticket Exchange' on the OS but about a hundred seats have become available again (around 20 in the Northam)

Can anyone confirm at what point in the season the criterion for away match allocations changes from away games attended last season to away games attended this season? I had in mind it was around the end of the calendar year.

tends to move around a bit but as a rule of thumb it's usually the first or second week of December, if i was to take a guess i'd say the reset will be Norwich away on 13th December

I thought it was normally the beginning of January? Don't think the reset had happened for Fulham last season. Was one of Palace/United?

Reckon it'll be Brum or Boro this year.

Shame that no games from last season's shit show will count towards the skates.

Don't worry we can use this seasons shit show instead

Think it was earlier in the Championship last time as we played more games, did a quick scan of my emails and it looks like last season it was United away (first away in January) that it switched

Apologies if posted elsewhere but does anyone know how Ipswich sales are going?

Looks like it'll go to all season ticket holders tomorrow but no idea how many left.

Good opportunity for those who think it's impossible to get away tickets now so I'm sure they'll be buying one.

Either that or they'll not bother until November and then moan when they can't get a QPR ticket.

When I had a browse on the UI late last week ‘Salisbury Saint’ (who’s pretty reliable) said there was only 300 tickets left, so must getting low by now.

Also had a peep on the Wrexham forum earlier, they’re understandably miffed as Saints tickets still not on sale to them yet, their club dragging their feet. Some seem to think they’ll be getting 3,300 tickets for some strange reason as the away corner only holds 3k. And it wouldn’t surprise me if the club added segregation netting either side of aways this season and restrict allocations to around 2,800. Hope so anyway.

I think it may have sold out. I was eligible to buy today but got the error message when trying to do so. Most likely reason, no availability.

Still on sale to season ticket holders with 1 away credit,  53 seats still available mostly "restricted view"

Entirely unsurprising yet utter shit.

Looks like we’ll have the entire Milton Road stand again for the away fixture which the locals are frothing about.

Where have you seen we get the whole end? Seen a few of the Mockney few mention it but nothing from a source.

Hopefully Wetherspoons is open and thriving in January. Make a point of not purchasing anything from their dump - beer included.

It was discussed at the meeting apparently, both teams to get 2700

i've just had a couple of calls to the ticket office to confirm our eligibilities for the Portsmouth game because my grandson had some difficulties logging in a couple of weeks ago. They have confirmed that those who had season tickets last season and are now members are eligible provided that they have also bought a ticket for this season under their membership.

Bristol, Norwich and Brum all perfect opportunities for those complaining they can't get away tickets to go there. I assume along with Ipswich @LeBizzier69 will be clamouring for tickets given how "unfair" the system is

It’s funny, and bloody annoying, how much we complain about the lack of 3pm kick offs in the prem, but we still get shafted even in the championship!!

Norwich is a shitter, crap journey at the best of times.

Why was the bubble never used for the League Cup game back in 2019? A night game and much harder to control that an early league kick off I wonder.

Less time to sort it and also local businesses being open with it being a weekday made it more awkward too.

Let's hope we beat Northampton and get them in the next round.

Not sure if it's just recency bias but it does seem like whenever we end up in the same division as them we end up getting them in a cup too.

Would love a night game at St Mary's in the league cup without a bubble, reckon the whole city would be absolutely bouncing for that and the blue few would learn a few of their myths definitely weren't true.

From what i heard at the time cost and time were the two main reasons, apparently organising a bubble takes a fairly long time to do for both the club and the police and the decision was more or less taken out of their hands. Especially as there was a chance the coaches would find themselves stuck in normal traffic and just become sitting targets

Not as bad as I thought. Norwich the only horrid one. Birmingham was always scheduled for that Monday anyway. At least none of our games have been moved away from Saturday.

Both PL years we got them in a cup. You're right that a home league cup tie would be amazing too, especially if it was second round so it took place before the league game.

First derby at St Mary's with the new away layout and it's a night game with no cup tie. Be absolute chaos.

Looks like Wrexham tickets have gone.

It's a bit strange, it's said sold out/tickets unavailable a few times now over the last few days but a while later a number of tickets again become available. I've got tickets but I've kept an eye on it as it weirdly kept changing. Earlier there were rows of four or five seats together in various blocks which may suggest they were staff seats put up for sale.

I haven't seen any mention of the Ticket Exchange being in operation which usually happens after it's sold-out. So if you're still after tickets but keep getting 'not available' maybe worth to keep checking back.

Edit: Still happening, earlier a few seats in 3 different blocks but all sold and now 4 seats have popped up in different blocks again. Maybe a glitch in the system.

Yeah not too bad, no date changes mainly just slightly different ko times, Charlton away would be better 3pm allowing more time for pre match refreshments

For entirely selfish personal reasons I was desperate for Derby away to move to 1230 or Sunday or Friday or anything. But no joy.

My club playing in the ground mere minutes from my house and I can't go because I'm at a gig in London that night (which i am also excited about but still). And we haven't played them for ever (a friendly in the Mark Hughes season was the last one). FFS

I notice they've made the pricing for the  Skates game Cat A* , bit cheeky really , assume it will be only game this season at such a price

Well, we better not be charging their fans £30 with prices like that for the home support.

I purchased Wrexham tickets to meet the criteria for this morning. I chose app tickets when checking out and the ticket is showing on each of our phones.

However, the ticket is showing as ‘not yet assigned on the phone of member name’ in purchase history on Saints ticket website, even though I did assign the tickets to each member at the time of purchasing, which obviously worked as the tickets went to each of our phones.

Is this normal? Just a little concerned if the ticket isn’t ‘assigned’ then I won’t meet the criteria to buy a ticket this morning!

I had the same concerns when my son bought both his and my ticket for the Wrexham game on his account. Whilst we're both members, and linked to eachother, the Wrexham ticket doesn't show up on my purchase history, so, just to be ultra sure, I ended up buying a ticket for the Preston game on my account so that we now both have separate / explicit purchase histories when it comes to buying the Portsmouth tickets this morning. Probably overkill but you never know!

Heads up! Pompey tickets are on the website now, it was meant to be half 9 but I've just bought ours.

Yep... the Wrexham tickets went on sale earlier than published too, so I assumed they might do the same today and... bingo! :)

Posted (edited)

They did the same for the Play Off Final too!

Edit: not sure if the OS is playing up because I've already purchased but they're showing as sold out for me, after 5 minutes!

Wrexham have announced away ticket details and they have the full 3000 allocation.

Don’t know why the club have given them the full allocation, should be giving ourselves every advantage possible.

I've got our two. One for me and one for Friend & Family (my grandson). He can't log in under his own account.

I have to say that it all went rather smoothly except for the one Captcha that I couldn't read.
