Before today when was the last time saints were losing at 90 mins then went on to win in normal time (not extra time or pens) ?

Has it ever happened?

Remember v Newcastle 95  0-1 to 3-1 but think equaliser was 86min

87, was in the Archers that night.

As @Lighthouse said, Lambert’s double at Millwall was first to mind. Bolton in the cup but that involved extra time.

Millwall away in 2012 must be a contender, although I don’t remember the exact minute of the goals.

They were both before 90. Still mental though, great trip that one and absolute chaos in the away end.

Having had a quick look - '85 and '88 but it's actually ridiculous the number of late goals when we play Millwall.

2003 - K. Davies '90

2006 - Fuller '90 - BWP '90 - DMG '90

2010 - Trotter '90 - Lambert '90

2012 - Henderson '86 - Feeney '90 - Lambert '85 - Lambert '88

2014 - Pelle '90

2023 - Fraser '90

Considering we've only played each other in the same division for four years since 1990, that's pretty damn weird.

Manning scored at 89.21

Can’t be bothered to look it up but Newcastle midweek at the Dell 0-1 down, last knockings of the game, Fat Lady clearing her throat, days of Teletext 30 second refresh (Solent was hard to get in North Hampshire).

Oh - 1-1………..2-1………..3-1……..FT!!!
Wow!
Next night South Today overlaid the match video footage with Radio Solent commentary - poor chap must have needed hosing down at the final whistle!

Wasn’t Brighton away in the L1 promotion year a very late show as well ?

Can’t recall the times of goals though, equaliser might not have been after 90 minutes though.

Fonte was 83 minutes IIRC and Connolly 89-ish

The one against us was Middlesbrough in 2004, Redknapp's first game. Their first (Higginbotham own goal) was in the 89th min.

Can clearly see him violently throwing a water bottle as the last goal went in. IIRC, he’d ‘roused’ the team (a pretty good squad really) but telling them they were nowhere near good enough.

That one was 86, 89 and 90: https://www.11v11.com/matches/southampton-v-newcastle-united-22-march-1995-22079/
