Can’t blame them though. Edozie's statement made it look like he wants to be around next season. We know the team at is stands is good enough to chase for promotion. None of us understimate Peretz's contribution (is there no way we can't sign him again on loan?) so that position needs to be filled, but keep the team and with any half decent manager, we'll do well. Many are assuming THB will be off, so why not bring him in and renegotiate keeping him on better terms. And we'll be swimming in funds once our lawyers get off their arses and sue the EFL for the tens of millions we're owed for missing out on our chance for promotion. 2
Willo of Whiteley Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I don’t think they’ll be a mass exodus of the players we currently have (ignoring the ones out on loan) 1

Leo and THB are probables although Leo is one I could see staying. Azaz could be looked at by a Prem team. Beyond that I think it all depends on the fall out from Spygate. Sadly we may be looking for a new GK though as I'd be surprised to see Peretz back. We just have to deal with the losses as they come and hope signings are up to it.
Saint86 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago How do we sit on PSR legacy issues? £53.9M loss 25/26 £5.7M profit 23/24 Total = £48.2M loss Vs a PSR limit of £61M. This season our transfer profit is circa £75M on face value? But for PSR purposes, that figure doesn't consider outstanding player transfer amortization, nor payments by installments for transfers in/out. Next season it's also all change, and we are limited to the new squad cost rules at 85% of revenue. 2

Willo of Whiteley Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago There was a good discussion about this on TSP last night and it’s spot on really, my opinion differs slightly. But ultimately I think Shea Charles, Casper Jander and Taylor Harwood-Bellis will, and are the most likely to leave. I think Leo Scienza is one that could stay for another year. The dust needs to settle first on the back of all this. With that in mind it might mean that the likes of Joshua Quarshie, Moses Sesay, Cameron Bragg step up or have to step up for next season. I’ve seen a few people mention Finn Azaz or Tom Fellows going but I don’t think they’ve done enough to warrant a bigger move as such. Aaron Ramsdale will be gone simply because of wages and he doesn’t want to be there. Goalkeeping-wise you have Alex McCarthy and Jamie Jones out of contract, leaving you with Gavin Bazunu, so there will need to be a minimum of two goalkeeping seasons this summer. Other out of contract players include James Bree, Ross Stewart - the two that two weeks ago I don’t think we’d have had any trouble keeping, but given the scandal and call up for the World Cup, will he or they get better offers in a months time? Will Smallbone and Joe Aribo are both done. After all of the above, you’re left with players returning from loans; as mentioned Aaraon Ramsdale will be gone. Ben Brereton-Diaz, Damion Downs, Gavin Bazunu as mentioned and Yuki Sugawara. All of the above retuning from loan, is there a way back into the fold for them? Probably not, and hopefully not. It’s going to be a summer of change, and as long as the manager position is in question who would want to sign? If I was a player I’d be wanting clarity on how the club plans to move forward. 2

AlexLaw76 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) we dont need THB, we bought that lad from the French Club #MultiClubModel Obviously, next season our bench is going to be much weaker. Gone will be the days we call on Charles to come in and rescue something Edited 4 hours ago by AlexLaw76
bangkoksaint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago We don’t want to be behind the curve and dilly dallying with what we’re going to do. Other clubs are already planning on managerial appointments and players. I so hope I’m wrong but I expect once again we’ll blunder through the summer 3

Yes, we’ll lose maybe six from the first team squad, but we brought in some excellent signings out of (almost) nowhere last summer, and nearly all worked. If we can get three or four youngsters come through, plus find an equivalent to Jander and Scienza, and entice one or two top championship players across, we could actually be stronger, as Wood, Bragg and Robinson will ave more experience. On the other hand, if the Independent is right, and players can walk away, if could get a lot worse, though whether the likes of Manning, Downes and Fellows would be able to get as good a deal elsewhere is questionable.

You want to get promoted and succeed as a team. "We had the opportunity to play at Wembley, in the 'most valuable game' in European football, but we didn't get it. It sucks, and it hurts. "There's a feeling of missing out, but I accept everything with joy and love. I'm sure something better awaits me." First comments from Peretz - I'll miss the guy, he was immense. Hope he gets a good top European move in the summer. 'I was there' when Southampton had a GK. Edited 55 minutes ago by S-Clarke 2

Like last season there will be a few out to balance the books, with some of that being reinvested in the squad. If the board permit a mass exodus they should be sacked. 1

We will once again suffer for their incompetence, whilst they bask in the glory of 'player trading' profit.
