Its up there alongside Alan Bennet v Crystal Palace and Scott Marshalls first two games

Alan 'Gordon' Bennett, easily the worst debut I've seen. TBF he got much better as the season went on.

His brother is Nico Schlotterbeck at Dortmund. Augsburg are what you may call a Bournemouth been in lower divisions but now top flight for several years. Depending on how many games he's played and if 90 mins then could have a lot of experience.

See his EA stats which are taken from real stats vs N Wood. Im sure our army of data analysts have checked him out.

I’d rather sign his brother but fingers crossed he is a Jack Stephens replacement

A traffic cone could be a Jack Stephens replacement.

Makes a lot of sense sending Quarshie out on loan, if that is what this means

If THB stays, I agree. If he goes, disagree.

Obviously Millwall are a big physical side.

Makes sense to chuck him straight in next to Nathan Wood. Stephens will get bullied.

Stephens, for all his faults, isn’t a player I associate with getting bullied. If anything he is more prone to losing his discipline, like he did with Cucurella, and just generally having terrible brain farts

Agreed. He has had a poor start to the season and has his limitations as a player but some of the hyperbole is OTT in my opinion. It’s good to have a genuine alternative but I would have concerns about throwing in a new player to a CB pairing without at least giving him a bit of time to get up to speed with how we play.

Stephens has made 3 big errors in the first 4 games and we are already 7 points behind the automatic promotion places. I'm not sure it's a necessity that he needs to know how we play. I just want someone who won't give the ball straight to the opposition in front of the goal.

I'm going to pretend I'm ITK and say that you pronounce his name Key-ven not Kev-en so that people wrongly start following suit. 😎

Edit- might help my credibility if I typed it right.

If that's the rule I'm going with Knee-Coh.

I would rather play Scienza at CB than Calamity Jack.

Lets hope it works out better than the last person we signed from Augsburg!

Hopefully we'll be minded to play this one in his proper position.

Looks like Schlotterbeck could Schlott right in at the beck. Could be a good signing.

Probably just as well we didn't partner him with Anel then.

This German ‘expert’ suggesting that Keven reinforces our options rather than improves them. Focusing a bit on Woods age and potential to improve further.

On paper he does appear to be an improvement to me. Guess we will find out soon enough.
