No more loan signings

I would imagine he's hoping his strikers, Saga and Euell, will score goals. As they have done before.

If they can't, then we'll go down.

If they can, we'll still need DMG, Surman, and Paterson to chip in with a couple I imagine.

Trouble is no of them score often enough.

Not great news, especially when you consider Forest are out there trying to strengthen. It'd be particularly galling to see Blackstock go there, when it would have been good to have seen him come back here, if we had the readies.

The news from Wotte also completely spoils tomorrow, when I'd have been logging onto the internet every 5 minutes to see which global superstar(s) we'd been able to recruit!!!

I see Forest are after Dexter Blackstock from QPR. Would be something if we could beat them to it. Still...

Damn you beat me to it! People have moaned for ages that we would be better with him would be good to get him back seems a decent striker when I've seen him against us!

I fear our lack of activity in the loan market will be our death warrant this season. All our rivals have strengthened and I just can't see our strikeforce scoring enough goals to keep us in this division!?

I now feel very pessimistic about our chances of staying up

Although there is also the argument that these new players will need to gel with their new team mates and may create an unsettled feeling, I do think our experience last season shows you what some good loans can achieve.

Wright, Perry & Lucketti etc certainly played their part in helping us stay up (in much the same way that Saiejs has improved us since he arrived), so would have liked to have seen some movement.

Forest look to have used the window well, but not sure what our other main rivals, Plymouth and Norwich, achieved????

Same and have been saying it for a while that our relegation rivals are all making efforts to stay up while Saints do nothing. Lack of goals is going to be very costly but alot of people including those at the club seem to think we don't need anyone.

Norwich got young striker Mooney in on loan who has scored some vital goals recently.

Plymouth got exerienced midfielder Fletcher in from Palace.

I see Dexter has joined Forest, could be somewhat galling to have him score against us on the last day
