Kelvin- believes players got team relegated so have a responsibility to stay and get it promoted. Excited about MLT possible takeover, will stay if offered contract. No-one with contract should leave but thats up to them.

Surman - v excited about MLT. Had no talk about Reading etc at all, was put on spot after Kelvin's comments and agreed (hard to say otherwise!).

I've been letting the rumour about MLT being on a new Saints Board roll around in my head for the last couple of hours. And every time I think of the prospect I begin to smile. It's possibly the first positive feeling I've had about this club in the last 3 or 4 seasons. It would probably be the single best decison ever made by a new owner to bring Matty in.

Agreed - especially if he is there in a promotional role and we employ a CEO and Manager worth his salt as a result.

Feel good factor will bring success... the alternative may be a Lowe influenced takeover... now which has more chance of success and support?

WOOOOOAAAHHH! BWP will be OK in League 1. I think he can stay IMHO.

+1

Look at the goals Matty Fryatt scored this year, yet he was crap in CCC.

Bradley would score goals in League 1 & if we release him, we will struggle to buy a decent goalscorer to replace him

He can **** off.

Didnt he score today?

I think him and DMG up front will be a pretty potent strike partnership in L1. With Saga ****ing off weve got no choice anyway, isnt he out 2nd best striker these season? Would be madness not to offer him a new deal IMO.

Why? He'd do very well in league one for us if he signs a much reduced contract.

He's a poor finisher, he can't pass, he falls over the ball a lot, he's not as fast as people think he is, he's overpaid, he seems to be an immature goon.

I agree about McGoldrick being potent in League One but I suspect he will be off to a better club.

The interviews on Radio Hampshire came across somewhat differently.

Kelvin was clear that he was more than happy to stay on and if a new contract was offered to him then he would have no problems finishing his career down here and playing in League One.

Surman was much more circumspect and non committal. When asked about playing in league One he was very much of the "I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, you never know what's around the corner" type of reply.

I definitely sensed a mrkes difference between their responses.

£10 a week plus big add ons for goals scored and goal making assists, that's about the best I'd give him.Reduced to £5 a week in the eventuality of him being seen eating junk food in local hosteleries.

You don't credit footballers with much intelligence, but BWP has got it spot on when he says that EVERYONE at SFC is responsible for relegation this season. I hope those with some guts will stay and try and put it right but think that many will be off.
