We should still have enough to beat Brighton but this is a damning stat - al four of them sitting in the stands.
-
Oh unlucky with the header at the end there Virgil. Pffft.
-
To be fair we've already got a Mario, a Pierre, a Guido and a Cedric. And we just sold Virgil.
-
I'm more interesting in which song we won't sing rather than whether he's any good. Guido, woah oh oh oh oh oh One for the money Two for the show Super Guido Carrillo Oh Guido (clap clap clap)

I was there. It was mainly about the quality of pies on the concourse.

[quote=Saint Garrett;2580028 Apart from Hoedt, I'm not sure any would be good enough yet for the championship next season either. Comedy

Has Skacel signed yet?

Liverpool agree world-record £75m deal for Virgil van Dijk
LaptopSaint replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Class player, utterly classless human being. Glad he’s gone. You have to cut the cancer out in the end. On the one hand, 75 million is money you can’t turn down. On the other hand, we could have got rid for 60 in the summer and perhaps not gone backwards by about 2 years as a club. Look forward to booing VD at the World Cup. Oh no, he’s not going to be there. -
Karma. But not calmer. We were probably due a fall after getting a bit too clever with all the Southampton Way stuff. There will be better days.

Just got back from training. Can’t believe Tadic is on the pitch. Must have pictures of Les Reed and a... what? Oh. COYR
-
Real shame he didn't make it to the WC. So who have we got going? Bertie (if he's still with us come July), Yoshi, Cedric, Boufal, Tadic, maybe Shane. Is that the lot? Maybe a late run from Jake Hesketh but it seems unlikely.

What he said.

Love the fact that the OP says "Saintsweb nutters are not representative" then the next three posters say Saints will go down. FFS. Swansea, Huddersfield, Bournemouth.
-
You can't come on here and try to start using facts and intelligent analysis. Get a grip man FFS.
-
Me too - Jenas and Neville got us spot on.

\ It is history, but it's going to be pretty annoying if he manages to guide Leicester to a higher finish than Saints. Very early days but on the evidence of today's two matches so far there's every chance of that. Talking of younger players, I was pleased to see PEH back on the pitch today, and I'd like to see McQueen get a bit of time off the bench sooner rather than later.

Karma police, arrest this man... Schtuff happens Ron.

He doesn’t really do ordinary goals, does he? And the pass to Austin was insane too. Personally I loved the reaction when he scored even if the manager didn’t. Passion - we could do with a bit more of that. Take a bow, son.

Seconds ahead of me!

Cuco having an absolute 'mare for Everton tonight. And what the hell has happened to Morgan?
-
Boufal can be infuriating but hardly surprising that he always looks like he's trying a bit too hard when he rarely gets more than 20 minutes. When we bought him he was supposed to be our f*cking saviour. I'm bored of saying this now, but give him a run of games...
-
At least coming back twice shows a bit of character. But for a club that decided that 8th place and a cup final wasn't good enough last season, 9 points from those 8 games is pretty woeful.

I honestly wouldn't mind too much if the top four at the end of this season effed off to a new European super league. Along with four from Spain, four from Germany, four from Italy and four from elsewhere. Whichever of the four English teams finished lowest in the new league would swap places after one season with the new champions of England. Would actually give us a realistic shout of winning the league, and getting a season or two at the European top table. Might also break Sky's business model which would be a laugh.

And now the football league jobsworths have got involved... https://www.efl.com/news/2017/september/efl-statement-afc-wimbledon/

I went to the match with an AFCW supporting mate last night. Tasty atmosphere. I pointed out Seager at the start so a bit awks when we thought he'd scored in the 6th minute. Glad it was an own goal. He looked OK, nothing more. AFC didn't deserve to lose.
