  1. There’s plenty that can be sung to intimidate, upset and anger them other than your generic cringe, but unfortunately they’re probably too nasty for our mongbase. Adam lallana, your baby’s not yours - in reference to his wife playing away whilst on holiday a few years back. Dejan Lovern, your wife is a whore - in reference to his wife cheating on him (with a farmer lol). Something about VvD’s old man walking out on his mum and family as a kid. Then there’s endless chants, which we all know, about the victims.
  2. I want to believe and I would love to see grown victim tears on sky sports at the end of the game, but it simply won’t happen. An easy 3-0 win for them. If we had an alright back 4/5 I’d give us a chance, but not with what we’ve got.

  4. Out: Cedric Hodet Stephens Reed Gallagher Austin Long Targett Clasie 1 of Forster or McCarthy (McCarthy probably easier to shift so him) Give Boufal and Carrillo a chance and move on if not impressed pre season (personally no hope with Carrillo, he’ll more than likely go). I could see Bertrand and Yoshida moving on as well In: - An out and out no9 to play off Ings, who drops too deep to link the play in middle of the park, to play up top on his own. Really like the look of that Augustin - An established leader at CB which we haven’t had since Fonte or VvD. - RB cover/Competition for Valery. Ramsey doesn’t look ready just yet. That lad from Genk would do the job. - is also like to see an upgrade on Romeu, who I think is average. A top holding CM, who’ll sit in front of the back 4, break up play (do the dirty work) and allow us to counter. like when Wanyama was here. (Dependant on Carrillo / Boufal) - cover / competition for Ings. A player that’ll drop into the hole (assuming we’ll play 422), be able to hold the ball up and have a second striker playing off him. - R/L AM, I have hopes that Boufal will come good (maybe deluded), but a player to drop into the holes an create, so we’re not so reliant on Redmond. (Dependant on other outgoings) - LB cover for Bertrand and possibly a replacement. Wouldn’t be surprised if vokins gets more exposure if I’m honest

    James Ward-Prowse

Chuck it out there early. JWP will not be in the next England squad. (Disclaimer providing we don’t have a number of injuries)

    James Ward-Prowse

Henderson was very good when he come on and is significantly better than jwp.
  7. Absolute scum club. At the very least they should have paid Nates what they owe (let’s not forget a proportion would be based on performance anyway..) and should be giving his family a % of his weekly salary for the duration of his contract, imo. Milked his death for their own benefit, yet when it comes to coughing up they didn’t want to know. Plenty of quotes in the press from warnock that would suggest he was their player. If he was still here and he’d scored a few goals to lift them out of the bottom 3 would he be their player then? This will backfire on them, I’m sure of it. I hope every club in the land refuses to deal with them in the future. I know it o ran a club I wouldn’t.

    James Ward-Prowse

If it hadn’t been for 2 freekicks people wouldn’t even be talking about him. He has improved and deserves a start for us (bottom end PL team) but let’s not get carried away.

    James Ward-Prowse

England will go untested in this qualifying group so should line up with (when fit): Dier or Rice holding with Loftus Cheek and Alli either side of them. Unless a significant amount of injuries happen JWP won’t get anywhere near the starting line up and will be lucky, like this time to get in the squad. As soon as Foden gets more minutes and Grealish comes to the PL they’re both be ahead of him as well. That longstaff from Newcastle looks a player as well. JWP will probably be 6/7th choice.

    Danny Ings

He lives there, with his mate. If you were on £70k a week and were trying to sell a house for £2.5m, would you not get it professionally cleaned to look the best it possibly could? P.s nothing to read into him selling up. I believe he has been getting his own built.
  11. Massive game, win and I think we are as good as safe. Lose and we’re right in amongst it still. I’m going for 1-1.
  12. Clearly not. Especially given their ground only holds just over 30k. Do you honestly think that any football club, in the world, let alone PL, would give the away team 99% of their capacity and leave 750 seats for the home fans
  13.
  14. Until we go down, which we will under these clowns. Also doesn’t explain why other clubs who will have a similar if not smaller income can massively outspend us on wages and transfer fees.. I.e Bournemouth. We do not have a sustainable business model at all. Imo we’re sleep walking into Lower championship /L1. I’m done with the club anyway. They aren’t gonna get a penny more of my money until I see some real ambition to improve the club.
  15. If anything was to sum up les reeds legacy, it’s that we are paying this sh!thouse over £70k a week. Playing him in u23 to put him in shop window is looking like a bad idea. Truly awful keeper.
  16. Predictable saints performance coming up tonight. Be the better team in a very average first hour, then Fulham will nick one on the counter / against the run of play, and we’ll then grab a late goal to make it 1-1. It’s really not enjoyable watching us anymore.
  17. I’d imagine that Ralph expected them to be replaced. Not just sold then having to rely on a couple of youngsters who aren’t yet good enough. Do you honestly believe Ralph thinks Austin is good/fit enough for his style? The only reason Austin wasn’t sold was because at that point it was clear we wouldn’t get a replacement.
  18. Brighton are in trouble, but that’d mean we’d have to win a minimum of 1 but realistically 3/4 games... They’ve probably already got enough points.
  19. Only an idiot would sign that Batshuayi for that money. I’d much rather have Shane long
  20. Not his fault and he’s an ‘okay’ (compared to what we’ve got) player when fit, but it was an absolute shambles our management putting faith and the future (in the PL) in the hands of 2 strikers with beyond shocking injury records and Shane ****ing long. Ings was never the right move for us. Many pointed it out and as usual got called trolls etc. At the time. We aren’t a club that can afford (we can we just don’t want to) have a player on £50/60k a week who isn’t playing every week. I’d have supported the signing of ings if we had a half decent striker, who didn’t have an injury list as long as your arm, to compete with him. Arsenal are there for the taking. They’re not very good, but then neither are we. Hopefully we see Yoshida back and Stephens never has to put on a saints shirt again. 2-0 Arsenal.

    Mr Gao....

Has an owner been so hated after such a short period of time? The reality is, Gao hasn’t really done a great deal wrong (at this stage), but I think it’s fair to say that no one wanted him to take over the club and everyone can see that things are going to get bad, quickly. I saw in the news today that Amanda Staveley and the Arabs are intrested in buying a football still. I’d have them over fat Kat and Gao every day of the week. At the very least she’s something to look at (but then again who isn’t compared to Kat and Nelly). Personally I’d rather ‘do a Pompey’ and have a bit of fun whilst we’re at it, than ‘do a Pompey’ with Gao penny pinching.
  22. The way Cardiff have handled this whole situation is a bit of a joke really. When it comes to grief and sympathy votes, they’re acting like it was a club legend. When it comes to payment, it seems like they’re trying to wash their hands as like he wasn’t their player... every day you seem to see someone to do with Cardiff in the papers. Abs for the lads making the gestures, they’ve probably taken it a bit too far, but I don’t really have a problem with it. I can’t understand why a Cardiff fan would even get irate and bite on it. They done it to wind the Cardiff fans up and boy did it work (also people have been doing it to United for years and no one bats an eyelid). Personally I’d rather our lot try and intimidate the away section and make St Mary’s a horrible place to play, rather than club away clubs songs etc. Couldn’t make the game but no doubt if Cardiff sang Sala’s name, our mob probably clapped it.
  23. It’s not the first time he’s been beaten in the air to cost us and it certainly won’t be the last. He is very, very average. Okay on the ball, but as soon as the ball is crossed in he offers nothing. More of a CDM than a CB. Yoshida isn’t good enough either, but he’s a lot better than Stephens.

    Next 5 Games

2/2 so far... still on course to 8 points which I’d be happy with
  25. Jack Stephens is still sh!t then. Not a PL player, never has been.
