I really like our current crest. I like that it was designed by a fan, I like how instantly recognisable it is and I like the fact there's no other crest that shares the same basic shape as ours (that I know of). If it ain't broke, don't fix it as they say.

He's perhaps a little too laid back (solely judging by his interviews). He didn't seem angry enough after our last performance and even seemed to play it off as simply 'that's football'. It's been a recurring issue for us for a while now. He can't always be the nice guy and everyone's friend.
-
Well I mean that's a big reason why he left so it has everything to do with that.
-
Perhaps the couple of years after he left us was an afterglow and what the current board have been doing is starting to show?

https://mobile.twitter.com/FootyHumour/status/850311334323519488/video/1 Saw this in the Watford forum. Just goes to show these pundits are clueless (excluding Le Tissier who actually spoke sense). They couldn't even give more than one English manager's name.

Puel was not giving us our moneys worth last season.

I agree. Drastic changes to the line-up may be just what's needed to spark something.
-
I thought that was madness? Agree though. Pelligrino seems very stubborn with his 4-2-3-1 formation.

Slow , uncreative, slow, indirect and slow. We're too easy to defend against. Tadic briefly improved things after half time and I still stand by what I said about him being the better choice over Davis or Ward-Prowse. Davis may be more consistent and our mister reliable but that is because he doesn't take the kind of risks that is required for that position. In the end though, the performance was frustrating and boring. On another note, I have to give credit to Watford when it's due. Their high pressing negated us entirely. I had hoped they would tire from playing at such a high intensity but their team looks fit, strong and more importantly, together. There was some impressive one touch direct football they were playing. If they can perform like that every week, I would expect them to be fighting for that 'best of the rest' spot.

I don't think any one was happy to see him sign when he did. Whilst I wouldn't necesserily blame him for this, he certainly won't be the man that fixes the problem.

Respectfully disagree.

I agree with that logic however I don't believe anyone else in our sqaud can do any better. We could have done with someone fresh to compete with those three but as it is, there's nothing else. Putting players such as Davis, Ward-Prowse or Long there is putting players out of position.
-
I understand they're all inconsistant. They are still our best players in those positions.
-
I think that team can play brilliant on the pitch!

Bench: McCarthy Stephens Ward-Prowse Davis Long Austin That first eleven with that strong bench (plus plenty more options in Hoijberg, Yoshida, Targett, Pied, McQueen and Sims) is capable of pushing top 6 IMO.

Did anybody play well?

We'll have to win the FA cup instead

Charlie Austin is suprisingly fast! -
Apparently we took a reduced allocation for the game so tickets hard to come by.

Surely one of the best scouts in world football. Tragic loss. RIP

YES. Have some of that you song thieving ****s!!!

The hilarious thing about the whole clappers thing is that it's basically the club acknowledging that our fans can't create a good atmosphere and are giving us a helping hand. Personally, I don't think it improves the atmosphere anyway.

Charlie Austin: "I was going to his right for the pen, but then Noble said Hart knows where you are going, so I put it into the other side."

Clearly needs a few games to get up to speed and form that chemistry with his team-mates but I very much liked his efforts trying to ping diagonals into the channels. It's another option for us going forward which is obviously a good thing. I'm sure we'll see him improve this season.
