Brighton train this season, some absolute bell-ends in my carriage drunk off their faces yelling songs about Saints, women and kids looking very scared and getting off the train to find other carriages before the thing had even left the station. You should have seen this lot when we went through Cosham and Fareham, Jesus.
-
Yeah, YOU haven't, that doesn't mean the thousands of people who don't go to football and don't "get it" aren't concerned about their welfare when stuck in a train carriage with a bunch of p1ssed-up people singing yobbish-sounding sounds and generally not behaving like normal people do on the numerous occasions when they're not going to football. I was going to ask if you'd expect a loud of blokes waving cans and shouting songs to pitch up on the 7:30am to Waterloo with the commuters, but that probably happens in your world.

In the Northam the only place you can hear the tannoy is the toilets.

There was clearly a covering defender in the middle of the area, but Green completely took out the striker who did something like a 360 degree faceplant, which I would say is reckless and therefore deserving of a red card whether it was denying of a goalscoring opportunity (DOGSO) or not. So they probably got away with it because the ref said it was DOGSO, which he must have done for it not to be a 3 match ban in the first place and West Ham pointed out the covering defender. Which is a crock of shat really.

There are two pitches at Moneyfields, the other one is parallel and behind those trees, so in 20 years' time they can start up the whole "turning the pitch" debacle again when they want to expand to fit in an extra 100 seats for their Southern League Premier campaign. Which reminds me, when ARE they doing that at Fratton ? Or moving to Port Solent ? Or building a big toilet on top of the Ferry Port ? etc.

I honestly think Tapatalk is a load of crap, downloaded it about a year ago, hated it for various reasons and have since jumped to Android with a nice big screen anyway.

It does of course edge them closer to their 14 player minimum, at which point the FL has said they can start getting players in again... Hopefully no-one will send them anyone and they end up filling their bench with emergency goalkeepers.

F'ck me, their administrator gets it : Huseklepp out on loan to Birmingham. Biggest news out of Portsmouth FC for about 5 years, FINALLY there's someone in charge who is prepared to cut costs. Sod's law says their entire squad ends up playing for West Ham, Birmingham, Reading, Blackpool, Hull, Leeds and Middlesbrough just to try and screw Saints over though. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17141797

No, complaining about passers-by being scared sh1tless by a bunch of turds who don't care about anyone except themselves is fine, it's their behaviour, far beyond "having a laugh and singing", which is pathetic. I'm pretty sure the club isn't issuing warnings about people "having a laugh and singing".

The two salt of the earth shaven-headed types in my row (nice blokes actually) arrive, pickled, about 5-10 minutes after kick-off, leave 10 minutes before half-time to get beers, and get back from the half-time beers - if at all - around 15 minutes after second half kick off. They also leave on about 85 minutes. Total time watching the 95ish minutes ? Around 50 minutes. They literally miss nearly half of the match. I'm surprised they even know which team Saints are.

Kudos for sharing my favourite stat, please tell me you learned it on here...

I'm not sure why you'd want him playing at a ground-based club, given that Ben Reeves is the King of the Undercut Pass. I haven't yet seen him play a ball in the air which he hasn't sliced through and floated, perfect for a hulking target man in the lower leagues with a neck the width of his head.

Yeah but just think of all the fun you'll have with NEXT season's predicted finishes... given that 17th is the first safe place above Prem relegation. In fact I'm now wondering if that was the plan all along, but I suspect I'd be giving you too much credit by assuming you really thought we'd go up and it's a one-year ahead set up. Seems to be working out like that so far though.

Close up of the button collar on new England kit. Also just realised whilst watching the match v Holland that the collar turns over. At least it can...
-
New England, England GK and Sweden shirts leaked : Sweden kit: England kit (and GK kit) Can only add 10 images to the OP so from now on I'll just add new images to the thread.

Unless it's the players and managers he played against when he was toss for a bit in the middle of the season.
-
Not sure why he'd be talking about Saints at all, 28_F.
-
Just as long as none of them gets involved in something important like, say, the Ted Bates Statue, or sorting me out with a venue for my wedding...

Is there any similar things to the bbc predictor

Jesus, I've got us dropping to 5th on the Friday night before the Pompey game. No pressure... ...and being 3rd for most of the run in, but going into the last day 3 points behind West Ham with a much better goal difference, with Brum 2 points ahead in second but with a worse GD than us. So a win and West Ham losing (home to Hull), with Brum not winning (home to safely Play-Offed Reading) would make us champions. Teams are on 92, 90 and 89 with a game to go... mind you I've just checked and I had Brum win 12 (including at West Ham) draw 1 and lose 1 (at Cardiff) which is fairly unlikely... Skate Cheats are 5 points clear of relegation FWIW, Forest, Millwall and Doncaster going down. Brighton 7th ! -
In the sense that he kicked it and it went exactly where he would have wanted to put it ? I'm pretty sure that's "skill", not "luck", or you have to apply the same criteria to every deliberate kick of a ball in every match. Damn Saints and their 30 consecutive lucky passes for that goal earlier in the season.

Pre-season I said after we signed Cork that we should be contenders for the play-offs, hoping if we avoided injuries we'd finish 4th. Now I'd be gutted if we finished that low. I've gone for second. Reading's stingy defence and signing of Jason Roberts makes them a threat, Brum have games in hand but as they're currrently still in the FA Cup with a replay to play, and have played a Europa League group campaign they're probably going to tire playing Tue/Sat all the way. West Ham have some bastard matches coming up but keep winning bizarrely and with 10 men, so they might pip us. We've only got one top half team to play at home (Reading), and 5 big aways at Leeds, Blackpool, Mbrough, Palace and Hull, so if we can win our home games and not lose our aways we'll be up there.

Coventry need point to stay up and relegate Skates

Honestly I think I'd want us to be Champions, second is ok but last year's "having to listen to Brighton fans go on and on" experience has made me want us to win it more - whatever happens to them is a bonus, but winning a trophy would be in the record books forever. The Skates would already be a league below us then anyway, just like from 1989-2003, so 2 divisions wouldn't really matter, and there's always the possibility of watching them suffer in 2012/13 when forced (finally) to do what we did in 2009 and probably with a further points deduction. -
Well, last year we had a Saints Promotion BBQ on the grass outside the flat where we used to live and invited about 30 people - it absolutely p155ed it down for 6 hours and everyone got utterly rat-ar5ed in the flat instead, which involved some very dubious "cocktail" dreg mixing by 4am. One neighbour came along, the weird one. This year, dunno.

He gets on the bench for Reading when McAnuff and Kebe are both out. League One or bottom half of Championship is probably about right for him.

Worth pointing out that Fox takes corners and free-kicks which significantly raises his likelihood of registering assists. Almost all of Richardson's assists are from open play. Also, had Harding not hacked that ball out for a corner against Cheats they'd have probably scored 30 seconds earlier, it was a vital saving challenge at the time.
