foolish on my part to trust anything from that lot, but this is where I got that idea from: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/great-matches/pompey_fans_face_hike_in_ticket_prices_as_club_budgets_for_vat_rise_1_2512893 "And all Championship teams need to cover a three per cent levy on ticket sales to The Football League"
-
don't you have to hand a percentage of ticket sales over to the football league? You probably don't have to hand over a percentage of admin charges.
-
it took ages, so long I think we all thought the deal must have fallen through...and then his signing was announced. Jemal already feels exactly the same.
-
am I the only idiot that actually thought my ST would be posted even though that was not offered when bought online?
-
when games are on sky why not reduce the price of tickets?
-
CB wasn't a problem last season.
-
with Jaidi in defence I have never felt safer at set pieces in 25 years of watching Saints.
-
I'll be staying in Sheffield for my sins. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There must be a few boozers in Barnsley surely?
-
if you buy and you don't intend to go to I'll take them off you hands. You're not really going t do that though are you.
-
no they won't.

I'd of said there were more than 600 of us last time. Not a great game, but their fans got behind them once they got on top. Northern games always get 1000 as there seems to be about 800 Northern fans that go to every Northern game and then at least 200 from down south join them no matter what. The leisure centre bar was a terrible place to drink. It was souless. The only thing going for it was the closeness to the ground. Anyone find a better drinking hole elsewhere last time?

If you can take the pain, I know I got a sinking feeling when I looked, these two pages show how the Milton was split for the last two games at **** park. http://pompeygory.blog-city.com/scum__20032004_season__pompey_1__0_scum.htm http://pompeygory.blog-city.com/pompey_4__1_scum__sunday_24th_april_2005.htm

probably not unless they mess us around with one of those pay up front deals if we want the full allocation in which case we'll go for a lessor amount and it might sell out. If its top v second then it will have an added attraction.
-
nice. I can just see him jumping into the crowd under the South stand to retrieve a ball for a quick throw and the whole pace going off. Later, when we are looking to waste time he'll smash the ball into the crowd taking out a skate in the process and it will go off again. Unlike Higginbottom in 2005, Harding won't hide. I'm starting to get excited about that game already.
-
they have to give us 10% unless there are strong safety reasons against doing so. We'd therefore get 2000. Away fans are on the other side of the Milton End these days meaning away fans coming in from the station would have to pass right by those queuing to get into the other side of the Milton. For that reason they might not split the Milton End, which means 3000 tickets. Leeds had the whole end last season and boy was it noisy.

I was going to ask how those people that were unhappy at the summer transfer moves earlier in the summer feel now after making the two signings. You (Dalek) seem to be less than impressed. How do others that felt we were too slow or not active enough now feel?
-
there are players that have impressed in the SPL and have subsequently been a success down here. Rangers don't have two brass farthings to rub together, hence the quibbling over the £2m fee.
-
no news feels like bad news regarding him. I'd like to hear someone ask NA about it.
-
They possibly won't be in this league for long. Lee Camp might also disagree...
-
won't that mean an early evening kick off time? Carnage.
-
I thought the first game sold out quite quickly, but after getting rained and hailed on and being held back for an hour because of the riot, the clamour to go back the following season wasn't quite there - which was lucky for those of you that chose not to go. They have a roof now, so we'll be heard, not soaked and hopefully coming away happy this time round. I doubt it will sell out to ST holders though. Far too many old timer ST holder that can't be bothered with hassle you might get at **** park.

I didn't rate him at all before he joined Brum and laughed at my bluenose friend having lost the England keeper and replaced him with Foster. However, he had an outstanding season. It matters not. He will be in the Prem.
-
I'd take Mutch without a second thought. The wages of the rest would probably be prohibitive.
-
Hate him or despise him, Lowe oversaw 8th in the top flight and a cup final.
-
£25k for his medal might be a snip if we are to have a Barcelona style museum to go with the team.
