Who is quibbling over a few quid?
-
My source told me that Jose has demanded that all players and staff now use call him "Sua Majestade" or, for those who get the Portuguese pronunciation wrong, just "The Champion". He will not answer to any other name. Also drinking Gatorade out of a silver goblet which is a scale model of the European Championship trophy. He is expecting to sign for Real Madrid or Everton by the end of the week.

LOSING TEN NIL WOULD BE GOOD AND WAKE UP CALL TO THAT FAT WOMAN WHO HAS KEPT ALL THE MONEY. I HOPE WE LOSE TWENTY NIL.
-
As long as Les Reed doesn't do a "reassure the fans" YouTube video, I am going to remain calm.
-
This is windmill-arms flailing about say-anything trolling, it really is. Desperate stuff.
-
Top, top trolling.
-
So, just to confirm, 9th then 9th then 9th is better than 8th then 7th then 6th? Top trolling. Top, top trolling.

I'd like to see your reaction if the club did that. Mental.
-
We're doping the fu ck out of this.
-
Big clubs have paid journalists to run it.
-
Except your "observation" doesn't work unless you believe the management of the football club have been "dumping on our mouths". It's almost pitiful how thick you are.
-
You're beyond a simpleton. Describing the experience of supporting a family owned football club delivering season after season of success culminating in a seventh and then sixth place finish and arguably our most successful period in our entire history with being "dumped in the mouth" is beyond any explanation.
-
You're comparing finishing sixth in the fu cking league to a "dump in the mouth"? That's why you're an effing idiot.
-
Pretty spectacular how thick some people are on here. But you're bloody consistent anyway. Well done.
-
0.5/10.
-
I'm hoping yesterday was an exception and he turns out to be effing terrible meaning we keep him for every last second of his entire miserable contract.
-
I bet he is. He's having a nice little break where he can spend some of his MCFC salary.
-
Sell Redmond and reinvest.
-
I know Saint Nacho was gutted we didn't go for a Mexican manager like Pellegrini but I think his song for Puel is perfectly adequate.

Simultaneously rewriting history and accusing others of myth making in the same post, astonishing stuff if it wasn't coming from the man who in January said we might not win one more game in the entire season and Newcastle would finish above us. But you've been very clear in your thoughts and we now all know that your idea of title-winning mega-ambition in the transfer market is a free transfer full back, Stoke's third choice Centre back and a couple of players for seven/eight million quid. Perfect. Fair to say that kind of reach-for-the-stars eye watering ambition is completely beyond skinflint gutless Southampton. But I guess we can only dream.

So the people that own and run the club aren't the people that influence whether we'll be a big club but fans on a message board are? Okay then. You planning some kind of overthrow of the board? Maybe ask why those people might think the things you wish for is a "risk". Maybe the "real answer" is it is a risk. Maybe the real answer is in our actual attendance performance, the real answer is in the non-existant season ticket waiting list, the real answer is in watching what Manchester City have done and deciding not to do that because we're not going to just be a money pit vanity project. Why is none of that "the real answer?" We're not going to "join the big boys". As covered by the multiple interviews with the people who own and run the club. I'd say they are the "real judges" and people that just want a fantasy stadium and fantasy club are not the real judges at all, just giddy clueless fans.

So a million dollar question is any question worthy of discussion on a Web forum? Making "was the moon landing faked" and "was the murder of Lee Rigby an inside job" also million dollar questions. You're the club historian. Go over every interview with every leader of the club post Leibherr (and pre if you like) and read. Every one, every single one, with Les and Cortese and Ralph and Katharina, over and over again say what we can be and what we will never be. Nicola was a mentalist but even he talked very clearly about how we need to compete with the big clubs while making a virtue of how our "way" can make us competitive with them because we can't and won't be like them. Interview after interview. Quote after quote after quote. Six, seven bloody years if it. But yeah, million dollar question.
-
No but they did sign a full back on a free transfer. They did nothing to demonstrate "ambition" and no one on this forum expressed any jealousy of their window activity last summer while there was plenty of wailing about Stoke and Palace and Newcastle. Some din will be here in a minute saying that they "kept all their players" conveniently ignoring they'd finished 14th the previous season with the likes of Vardy not actually wanted by anyone (that'll be the five goals all season before). Leicester this time last year were pretty much identical to us in our second season back. Back up, finished 14th, no one spectacular enough to attract any attention from the big clubs. The main difference is while we were led by the world's most driven and ambitious chairman in sporting history spent big on three expensive players and we finished eighth, Leicester weren't and won the whole freaking league.

Not been watching the rowing, cycling, gymnastics, rugby sevens, shooting, swimming and kayaking then?

It's not a million dollar question. It's a question that has been comprehensively answered and put to bed.
