  1. When was Harry Kane on loan at Saints? I'm thinking never. Pretty sure Motson just said it on MOTD.
  2. To be honest I don't think I can remember many discussions about that particular issue. But personally I'd like Mane here scoring 15 goals a season until he retires in 10 years time. That, for me would be better than flogging him to recoup the transfer fee which is what you seem to be suggesting we simply must do.
  3. It's not as ridiculous as Leicester City bring top of the league at Christmas.
  4. 12th at Christmas last year? Aston Villa. So we're relegated next season, then.
  5. When did I ever talk about protesting against Cortese?
  6. Please start organising a protest. Please. I'd effing love that.
  7. We've bought quite a lot of ready made Prem standard players from Forster and Bertrand, Pelle, Mane and Tadic to Virgil. Pretty much everyone we've signed under Koeman was signed to be "ready made". Clasie was signed to be ready made but hasn't quite made it yet. But of course he's one of those cheap dross replacement players we bought on the cheap from the bargain bin what with him being more expensive than every single player signed by Leicester this summer. The only exceptions are Martina and the loans we made last Jan. I'd hope if we do make signings in January they will be ready to go into the first team and not be Elia standard.
  8. Consisting of things I don't say.
  9. I was replying to your list of things you decided I think or have you forgotten you'd posted that. It's about four posts up from here, maybe ten minutes ago. Jog your memory.
  10. Why would I say we're doing just fine? We're on a poor run of form. What would I say you're deluded about? On the Champions League I would say what I've said time and time again. Read and listen to what Les Reed actually says. You won't, because you never do. On Leicester I would say what I've already said a couple of times - they show how it can happen for a club like us, proving mine and Les Reed's point exactly. I for one really hope they do it with their players they spent three and six million quid on. You could pay attention to the world around you and seek to understand it. But we can't be having that can we?
  11. You could have used that time to watch the press conference and actually listen to the manager. But that would bring you dangerously close to learning something and we can't have that.
  12. You are creaming yourself over those quotes aren't you? Probably another couple of threads you could bring it up on. Worth mentioning Koeman was asked a question to the tune of "if you don't get results in the next three games, are you in the relegation scrap" to which the obvious answer is yes. Ronald didn't stroll into the press room and shout "listen up folks, reckon wee going down here, put that in your paper ". In the same conference he went on to talk about fine margins and how close we would have been to Spurs right now if we'd just beaten Villa. He gave at least as much time to that conference to looking upwards as he did downwards. Sorry to spoil it and stuff.
  13. That's six months grooming wasted. I thought you were a boy.
  14. Not really. Unlikely he'd have been linked this time last year either.
  15. I draw the line at consistently lying about other contributors to this forum, but that's something that is almost compulsion with you. Still, you've absolutely mastered playing the victim card when anyone pulls you up on your compulsive lying as above, so well done you.
  16. One of two jobs next for him. 1. Back to Real. 2. England.
  17. If Chelsea are going to go for a flavour of the month panic buy they might as well lump in for Vardy and be done with it.
  18. I think we'll see who the really bitter ones are within the two years it takes the bearded tit to find himself in the dustbin of history.
  19. Can anyone think of a contributor to this forum who is "quite happy to ignore questions"? I can. And saying that "we", the British people, are bothered about the hijab but "not overly bothered" about the Ku Klux Klan is playground, pathetic debating that you are to gutless to explain despite being asked to several times now. As is your other playground tactic of fabricating the opinions of others and then debating against them. Or lying as it is more commonly known. Something you have done to several posters, repeatedly, over many threads. Try not to belittle others by suggesting they are in the playground when you are debating from the sewer.
  20. Well, he's used this thread to flog his particular hobby horse of having a go at Christianity and harmless/anodyne British seasonal traditions and he consistently shows his contempt for the wider British public, with his assertion that "we" object to the hijab more than the KKK. The thread pretty much unravelled and became unedifying once he got on his "what about the Christians, then" nonsense. Funnily enough "what about the Christians, then" not way up the agenda when the UN get together right now. The unedifying stuff has a source and he is it. SOG gets his attempted little digs in to me and others as well, so let's not pretend he us some wide eyed victim. Now, a SOG attack is an assault on the scale of a towel falling on top of you when you open the airing cupboard door, but he tries to dish it out nonetheless. Basically, if you don't want to get me going on here, don't spout vacuous platitudes which no one has disagreed with and claim them as a unique position only you hold, with the implication that others, ie me, don't understand that or disagree with it. SOG is a forum expert at presenting the blindingly, pitifully obvious as his own groundbreaking thought. That's how to have my goat got and by jingo he's got my goat.
  21. Yes, SOG has run away again.
  22. SOG, I am struggling with this concept. Do you think you could explain this concept to me so I could stop struggling with this concept? Here is the concept I am struggling with: Or are you go to run away, yet again?
  23. No one, but no one, is "struggling with that concept". It's a facile, pathetically obvious point that you are labouring and labouring like it is the greatest insight anyone has ever come to. No one is struggling with it. No one. Get it? I wonder if you will ever grasp that.
  24. Last week. The last published numbers are from the Pochettino season, and we were 16th, which is not actually the bottom four anyway, if we want to get all MLG about it. Let's see if we are still 16th when the next tables are published in April 2016 for Koemans first season.
  25. The Leicester board must be applauded for their unbelievable ability to hold on to their star players in the face of absolutely no interest whatsoever from Champions League clubs.
