He's played fewer than 10 first class club games since August 2023 (the beginning of our Russell Martin season). So he might take some time to get up to speed with the Championship.

You know the same people hired Juric and Still, right? They don't get drafted into Southampton out of nowhere. It's just people deciding on a conspiracy theory and disregarding anything that doesn't fit it.

The idea that Juric and Nathan Jones (for example) aren't "strong willed" is ridiculous. Russell Martin was /is very stubborn. They are just appointing the wrong candidates for the role. I know it is a favourite topic on this forum but I think the idea that there is some overarching dominant vision that is driving everything is being massively overplayed. Jones then Martin then Juric then Still don't even play the same way. It's all far more scattergun than some are making out.

The critical thing is they got promoted. Coventry don't need 120 points, they just need to finish top 2 and they definitely will. They need to do about as well as Bristol City to get top 2.

Bit weird, there's a fifty year history of great TV comedies from the UK and the US with laughter in it. In pretty much every case it's the studio audience laughing. The trend in the last 15/20 years for non laughter shows who pretend everything is a fly-on-the-wall documentary is just as much artifice. Some are sublime some are just by-numbers with the "laugh here" moments telegraphed in the same obvious way as any laughter track show.

I'd rather we had the money to sign Fellows/Azaz/Scienza/Jander/etc. Sitting on Dibling for another season would have been mental.
