  1. I think you're missing the point. Premier League Clubs can't loan anyone outside of the windows. In theory we could beg for an emergency loan but as MLG says it won't be granted as we have an incredibly experienced keeper (560 odd appearances) on the bench, and if we lose him another keeper who has already played in Premier League matches and elsewhere. Plus Cropper. None of those players qualify as "the bloke from the front row". I think Newcastle had two keepers down and had to put a kid in earlier this season. Gazza with Cropper on the bench? We'd have to lump it I'm afraid. It's a pain not having our first (or second) choice keeper but there is no emergency here therefore no emergency loan would be granted. (We might still sign an out of contract player, but I doubt it.)

    I miss him too.
  3. He's defintely allowed to play for us in the back end of May though?

He can defintely do a job. In 18 months time, unless the FA go for yet another £6m a year foreign megastar manager then Pardew is pretty much the only contender isn't he? Who else is there... Garry Monk? Big Sam? Brucey? That bloke from Brentford? Our Tony Pulis?
  5. Another black out? Seriously, get help.
  6. The full facts being you implying that knife crime is some British thing that doesn't happen in the US and the full facts that you said in this thread that knife crime was worse than gun crime. And the full fact is that guy is now dead. Shot dead. The full fact is if this had happened in Hampshire you'd be posting it up here to "prove" your rather dumb worldview. Except it didn't and it is highly unlikely to. What other full facts have you got for me?
  7. Correct. It wouldn't surprise me if the club pulled some out-of-contract black box certified keeper out of nowhere this week, but in all honesty we can navigate the rest of the season with Kelv in I think.
  8. Did howwible old Les Reed not return Artur's phone calls either? Waaaaaaaaah.
  9. No. Remind us what a "mess we're in" again won't you, you grizzling little ponce.
  10. He won't be coming back and that's absolutely fine by me. Played his last game for us I'd hope.
  11. Anyone still think Swansea and Stoke are breathing down our necks? No? Good. We are definitely finishing seventh or higher. What a season.
  12. Crab Lungs has just come.
  13. We will walk this.
  14. This can be easily explained by population size. America is well big.
  15. I'll be eating a low quality, slightly warm individual steak and onion pie at 3:37 this afternoon. It's what he would have wanted.
  16. I will try to write a eulogy later, but it will require a little concentration. Camp he was not, he enjoyed the crack. Off he go. Ring the changes is what the mods want to do. I will miss him. Mler.
  17. The final solution.
  18. Like most British people, Wes, I tend to carry six or seven knives on me at any one time, for all eventualities. I shove my hand in my coat pocket and it comes out like Wolverine.
  19. http://abc7news.com/news/machete-wielding-man-shot-at-new-orleans-airport/567316/ The entirely British phenomenon of nutcases with knives has finally, finally arrived in the US. Of course, the police shot him with the much less harmful "gun" thing.
  20. Your "America is superior and you're all no-nothing helpless subjects of a monach" attitude is much better. Especially as a English born person living in Canada. Must make you feel so wonderful.
  21. This forum will always find a home for complete idiocy. Astonishing work.

  23. This thread has been waiting for a few days now for you to come on and be a pri ck. Thanks for not letting anyone down.

I definitely worked you out last summer as someone without a freaking clue. What a mess we're in.
  25. Not really, no. I am surprised FIFA's commercial partners haven't kicked off more. There will be a genuine economic impact in some sectors because of this. Retailers, and big brands in beer, crisps, chocolate and home entertainment do pretty well at Christmas anyway, the big football tournaments are a handy second Christmas every two years. Same is true of the pub trade. Genuinely this will balls up some business plans by effectively bundling everything up together. Will also impact commercial broadcasters as well, who will suffer a bit with Xmas ads/traditional football advertising crammed into the same time frame, leaving a bit of a barren summer. So lots of rich stakeholders (brands/broadcasters) impacted, I would have thought they would have objected more than they have.
