They've started building the stadiums now, I imagine turning back now will be an legal nightmare. Would be lovely if UEFA just refused to participate but I believe Platini voted for it anyway so slim hope.

This nonsense counts as Sarnia having a "rational debate". Do absolutely anything a police officer tells you to do at all times because if you don't then being shot in the back 8 times or being shot 300 times through a windscreen is perfectly appropriate. "Expect what happens to you" I believe is Sarnia's preferred "rational" analysis of these situations. Rational debate ahoy.

I hope you're wrong but you won't be.

I watched it and it did seem half a programme, couple too many hard - left commentators with a bit too much airtime. All through it I did sit there thinking "yeah, but he won in 1951". So not quite the definitive rejection from the public as portrayed.
-
Except Morgan, who seems to be saying he wants to stay in the Premier League.
-
Not sure how this is relevent to the thread.
-
To paraphrase: I said one thing to you once, three months ago and you still haven't got over it.
-
Seriously, this is like football negotiations for beginners.

As I said, only the desperate hang on to stuff like that. You want to quote that and clutch onto it like rosary beads then crack on. If you're incapable of reading between those lines then that's your problem not mine. He'll go if the money and opportunity is right. He'll stay if none of those three or four clubs want to lump £20-odd million on our right back.
-
Les Reed's comments won't "look silly" if he goes. All he said was they were still talking. Only the desperate hang on to such vague comments as anything more than what they were: hopeful. If United (or any CL side) comes in with £20m or so for our right back he's off. Couldn't give a monkeys what any forum supposed ITK gimps say in May. If Clyne signs a contract extension he's staying for one more season. Let's just see what happens.
-
If by "trademark" you mean something slightly similar to the words in quotation marks but not actually those words, and something said to you once about one particular thing and never to anyone else before or since about anything else, then yeah, that's a real trademark of mine. Maybe I should charge people to use it.

Actions not words. Shipped out at first opportunity.

2-0 to City you say Lawro? Let's see if next season he can get even more "clueless" because my god how much more wrong can he get?

I'd say the best season in my Saints supporting memory, with only Chris Nicholl's wonder team finishing 7th and Bally's 10th place finish really in the running for me. Last season was good but I wasn't loving the club as much as I did then and I do again. Mane, Frazer, Bertrand and Toby have been outstanding additions with Tadic and Pelle filling big shoes effectively, especially in that dreamland first half of the season. It was always a tall order to expect to maintain that level of performance throughout the season, and so it proved. We're the best of the rest by some distance and we all should be very proud of the job the board, the manager and the players have done to achieve it. Next season I just want us to be in Europe come Saturday night, still in it in September and still in it again come February. Plus a decent top ten spot.
-
I think he would be a very good signing if we can get him in for £10m. I'd expect Pelle to push him hard for his place. Austin's had a great season, but Graziano might rise to the challenge.

What are you on about? You're saying Koeman hasn't had a chance to assess Ramirez where he clearly and obviously has. Let's remember who decided to carry on a debate with me from one thread onto a different thread, and this is now three separate threads you're trying to have the same argument with me on. You to me, not the other way round. Get over yourself.
-
How's the "development" of Dani Osvaldo going? All those "development" loan moves he's had must only be great for SFC when he comes back all developed and everything. Ramirez has no future at Southampton. If Koeman wanted to see how he could develop as part of a Premier League team then I reckon there is a Premier League team that he could have kept him in.
-
Remind me which manager bundled him off to Hull on September 1st after being the manager of Southampton for two and a half months?
-
This. Just because we were 3rd halfway through the season doesn't mean we were ever going to stay there. If it was, say, Pelle, out for the season in March rather than Forster the season in would likely have panned out about the same, just with a different "If only...." angle.

They could do a lot worse to be fair.

UKIP have no mandate on anything, in the European parliament they are irrelevant. They don't have more of a mandate than anyone else (or other parties don't gave less of a mandate than them), they don't have a mandate. Except in Thanet where they run the council. Check them out. Oh and that MP who looks like a sheathed penis. He's got one hell of a mandate.
-
Oh aye. With statements like that I'd say they are more likely to be the next QPR than the next Saints.
-
Possibly very stupid. They just needed to guarantee Premier League football for one more season, and for all his faults Sam would do that. Hey, it might work and I'd say Brady and co have looked a similar sized club who have chopped and changed their managers with phenomenal success. Now who might that be....?
