Ripe with the smell of a Money ball purchase, I just cannot fathom what the Quant's were looking for, it'll be bleeding obvious come Xmas.

Due to the poor communication.

How many more are big enough to apologise?

I would apologise if I wasn't so big -
I feared the club was being driven off the edge of a cliff with all the sales and discontented players. It seems Ralph, Penfold and Big Ron had a tighter hold on the reins than the comms eluded too. We now have an exciting team, a better squad and a promising season ahead. Got no idea where we will finish but I do know it will be entertaining.

Falcao to Man Utd, official.

Talksport reporting strong rumours linking Falcao to Man Utd for euro 60m.

Where is Gaston these days?

Got a decent manager there, lost a few first teamers over the summer too.

After the amount of money we have raised, the time we have had to execute our transfer strategy and having a manager that is not viewed as too much of a step down from MoPo anything but a win would be inexcusable. No pressure like.

Pelle backpass or looked too far to run?
-
Good job Millwall are playing a reserve back four, or we'd struggle to impose such an emphatic scoreline.

Been here since 2006, how can I help?

plan B is a "nice to have" when you have a plan A.

Good Post, looking at the teamsheets there's not much in it, but tactically there is a big difference. Hopefully this is due to us missing key players or RK not getting his point across. I hope that RK is intelligent enough to recognise that the tactics of last season should become our default with RK's tactical genius supplying additions upon that solid base. If RK gets his men on 31/08 it will take a month for the team to gel and for tactics to become understood, so hopefully it'll start to click in October.

Morgan's head gone- Update: It has been re-attached
Killers Knee replied to Chez's topic in The Saints
I'm sure he's just playing at 80% to ensure he doesn't pick up an injury. Its sad but he is too good for Saints, if his value is between £20 and 30m, then he should be on £100 - 150k a week. We are nowhere near a big enough club for him. -
Pelle will need 6 months to get up to speed, he's played all his 29 years at half pace, his brain cannot even think at premier league speeds yet, so I will judge him around March. Tadic and Forster are good players, they wouldn't have looked out of place in last season's team. Gardos is somewhere between Lovren and Forren. Tactically we are worrying.

I think he is referring to the comments made by Saints Legend Rickie Lambert, who said the Great Escape or Mass Exodus didn't have to happen and it could have been different.

New players get less and less time to settle in these days.
Killers Knee replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I hope RK is just struggling to get his point across to the players, and it will click when the new players join this week. The alternative would be too depressing, Saturdays tactics reminded me of Saints under Harry Redknapp, hoofing the ball up to Crouch as if its some kind of tactic. I am worried that the training sessions are not of the elite level of last season and instead of adding RK's tactics to our portfolio so we have a plan A and a plan B, we are replacing our highly praised and attractive football with something else. We need to play last seasons tactics as our default and implement RK's improvements, not fix something that isn't broke. So if by Sept 1, RK gets his men, I hope he can implement his tactical evolution, not revolution. Too early to make a judgement on our success in the transfer market, although observations that Pelle is off the pace are perfectly valid, just like Gaston, he will need 6 months at least to get up to speed mentally and physically.
