Well he would be far better than Johnson, you can't possibly deny that? And no, Lukaku has a lot to learn, he can be an exceptional player, but last season the system didn't suit him and he was more often than not, anonymous for Everton. There is a reason Chelsea keep loaning him out and have slapped a ridiculous price tag on his head, obviously they get this too. Our's might not be the best, but it still belongs to us and I (as do many) still enjoying belting it out.

Has no one ever really thought that it's not "agents" spreading these rumours, but people connected with places such as Sky Bet? With more than one club, there is suddenly a market, with a market, cash can suddenly be taken. It's all such a farce.

To be fair, I hope they've spoken to many managers before coming to a decision. It's inevitable that one or two 'faces' will appear in Southampton and/or will meet the board somewhere else, therefore it's inevitable that some dullard will report it to someone and it spreads as "they're the next manager", especially with the borefest that is Twitter. We're not a big club, will never be a big club and if we keep 'making' such brilliant players, they'll be picked off by the big clubs. It's nothing new! At least it means we'll (hopefully) not get in a financial mess again. So Roy was right, I thought so anyway.
