  1. And what is Andros doesn't overly want to leave and/or join Saints?
  2. You know what, I quite like having some Saints interest on the last transfer day. Makes a nice change, sod all this getting your business done early, this is more interesting - gives me a reason stay up and watch triffic 'arry hanging out of his Range Rover.
  3. I hope that's an interview question? Les: Tell me, what are your long term plans? Player: Champions league, yeah, and, er, yeah, er, more money and sh*t, yeah, er, Liverpool, Arsenal, er, yeah Les: Okay, thanks, look forward to seeing you play here for a couple of years then Player: Er, yeah, er, and, um, er, long term, yeah, one year, yeah, next summer
  4. He means (I presume) that various helmets on here have been slating Saints for selling Chambers who is now playing at Arsenal. Chambers that wanted to go and didn't want to stay. Chambers that Saints got £xxm for. Chambers that was a SECOND choice behind Clyne. Chambers that has looked average at centre back for Arsenal and now isn't first choice. Yeah.
  5. In my best English ... F**k right off, you f**king north London c**ts. I'd love to see that as a fax from St Marys to White Hart Lane.
  6. Don't know too much about this fella, but I gather he can play right back too? Exactly the player we need!! Keep Fonte, Yoshida, Gardos AND Clyne on their toes. Much much much more cover at the back now, so much more cover than last season really. Yoshida looks to be stepping up, so we should be less afraid of injuries now. Great business. Love Jos, as a team member, but I presume he's either happy to be back up to the back up, or he'll be off, sadly?
  7. Who is the guy, Lool? Not heard of him!?
  8. Agree, I think he definitely WILL improve under one of the best centre backs the world has seen, plus he is "only" 26, so still fairly young in terms of a decent player in that position. He certainly does seem more calm and composed this year vs last and maybe his stint at the WC with Japan helped too?
  9. Agreed, unfair on him whatever his intentions are whether he wants to stay or go.
  10. Definite man-love appeal.
  11. Nah, Cabbage Face, it has to be
  12. I suspect not something they have in Italy?
  13. Hmmm, I haven't been there before, just looked at their site, looks really good! Something really different too, I like!
  14. Southampton itself is still a bit sparse for food really. Simon's @ Oxfords is nice enough as is the Pig in the wall opposite the Grand Harbour.
  15. Agreed, thought he (Long) was good last night, got around, caused problems, some good passing and hassling attributes. Just a couple of final ball issues and a couple of instances of needing to pass more quickly when a player was in space. He will do well here, could see them all gelling in the second half!
  16. Very good in defence and decent when going forwards, but the opposition weren't up to much - he'll be a decent left back though!
  17. And a bloody good bollocking it obviously was then! Well done the Koeman!
  18. Just a thought, but why would we be playing a player for 45 minutes who was off and waving goodbye? I might be wrong, but these matches are great when in the situation we are in now, where we need new players to get to know each other and gel on a pitch. Playing a player who is off would seem retarded.
  19. Watch both?? I had MK Dons on the TV over the top of my laptop - obviously headphones on the laptop!
  20. Agree with that, you never know, it may have helped Pelle push on and score, hearing the fact he was being supported and obviously doing well. Well done the Saints fans tonight!!
  21. Ah good! Well, Taider
