And, so what? There's no shame in that, Ronaldo has a talent with his feet, he'll do that to many players. Personally I'd have kicked his f**king legs to pieces, but I don't have his skill.

Agree with the analysis on Zaha - he will be a very good player, no question. But on the basis of being able to compare them directly last night, I'd say that Redmond looked the more astute recent purchase of the two. I was also suitably impressed with Berahino!! Shaw was of course, excellent; though not yet ready to replace Cole - Baines is ahead of him in the pecking order, rightly so at the moment based on defensive ability and top flight experience, but it won't be long - he's only 18 for Christ sake!!

That's a really nice, promising set of nippers in that team!!

Cherno Samba? Wasn't he the "wonder kid" (or whatever they were called then) on Championship Manager 2002 or something??
-
All joking aside; Paulo Ferreira as a back up and for the youngsters to learn from?? Could do worse ...

I still don't get temporary exclusion - it's hardly a punishment, is it? "You've been naughty, go home for a week" ... ?

I went years ago, bought tickets on the day at the stadium and got the train from the central station to the arena with the locals. Was all very easy! But that was over 10 years ago now.

As it stands, do we have a better midfield than Utd?
Patrick Bateman replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
I would laugh if there was one, full of similar helmets. Actually, knowing Man U's global fan base, it'll be full of helmets from the far east ... -
Christ on a bike, most of our fans are complete helmets.

Why do we always use all three substitutes?
Patrick Bateman replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
Because we don't have 2 subs, or 4. Perhaps that's why we use 3. Christ on a bike. -
Have been on 4 Qatar Airways flights in the last two weeks on holiday, 12 hours of flying each way, so I managed to cram in a fair few films ... firstly, their in-flight service p*sses over BA in terms of entertainment, food, comfort and staff helpfulness and attentiveness ... however, Doha airport must be the most boring airport on Earth. I would never like to see that airport again. Anyway ... Olympus Has Fallen ... awesome! Proper, no-nonsense action film, no thinking needed, great fun. Really enjoyable in the old fashioned Die Hard sort of way ... 9/10 Burt Wunderstone ... fun, but a little lame ... wouldn't watch again ... 6/10 After Earth ... Complete cr*p ... badly acted, bad script, bad effects ... bad ... 2/10 Groundhog Day ... I forgot how entertaining this was, a classic ... 7/10 Compliance ... Weird, but the fact it's true is scary ... 6/10

What the hell?? It's a great location, it's in the city, short walk from the main station, great pubs on the way, great atmosphere on the walk to/from ... have you been to Reading (to name the obvious one)? Rubbish, stale experiences when not in the centre of town.

The Merson one is hilarious ... "wwwnagagaga, the Southampton one, what's his name?"

"I thank my wife, 3 kids, my family and Southampton Football Club" F**king legend. (and yes, I mean "legend" in the proper sense, the over-used sense)
-
Agree with this!! Proper fairy tale sh*t!

Utterly stupid. It's why a lot of people don't bother - the forum is now limited to those that have the time to read through 10 page threads, which isn't many people. I want to come on, see a thread about a player, have a look and leave - I don't want to have to read pages and pages of drivel when separate threads would suffice. I liked the thread about "could we have signed these players" etc., I don't see why they were locked and I don't have the time to read back through massive threads. Morons.

Anyone Remember Essruu & Friends Road Trip To Dagenham?
Patrick Bateman replied to TijuanaTim's topic in The Saints
Likewise, I'm still sat here p*ssing myself at those, brilliant! Good days! -
That just looks like a multi-coloured picture of c*ck and balls dangling in to something

I thought about this argument, it doesn't work. Yes, some blokes fancy fat birds, old birds, blonde birds, brunette birds, blokes, hairy blokes, fat blokes etc. But where do you stop at that list? Do you add on "young girls, young boys, animals"? Therefore, whilst it's an interesting way of looking at it, it doesn't work on that level.

My little brother and I went through a stage of being all "Tokyo drift". He had an RX-8 and I owned three various 350z, each increasing in horsepower. The 350z was/is a very fun car, but my borther's RX-8, despite being slower made me smile just as much - I did also like the fact you could stick 4 adults in comfort in it. It chewed oil in ridiculous quanities and the MPG is very very poor for the performance. I was gutted when he sold it and bought a Mini GP works with silly red door mirrors - yeah, lots faster than the RX-8, but it never bought the same smile to my face - he only kept that 4 months, says it all. I do love my Japanese cars and I still wouldn't mind relieving my Civic Type-R days from 2001 when they came out. Fantastic car, great fun - would love to find a non-abused one as a run around, but chances of one being "non-abused" will be minimal.

Having just got back home and reflected on the train journey back with a Spurs mate ... Wanyama will be awesome this season. Everything he did was spot on and he's a good physical presence. Morgan's passing was lovely too today. Biggest disappointment was Gaston, again. I just don't get him, what am I missing? Chambers was very competent at right back and actually, better than Fox was at left back - apologies to those who like Fox, but it was true.

It's typical of people complaining on behalf of people that may or may not be offended, but they feel the need to complain just in case they are offended. Utter, utter helmets.
