Nothing really against Man Utd - prefer them to City, Chelsea and Arsenal for various reasons. But this is a real shame, big loss for them, big loss for football. I honestly don't think we'll see anyone like him again. This is someone who took an average team (and they were average) and made them the biggest club in the world from top to bottom. It wasn't the owners that did it, HE did it. Fair play that man, awesome work.

Agree with this! I know a good sponsorship deal is vital financially, but it'd be lovely to be so self-sufficient that we could have a charity as a shirt sponsor. To be honest, there are almost too many sponsors in football now anyway, the return must be so diluted and probably harder than ever to measure. It's hard enough to measure marketing ROI on social media, let alone on a team/in a ground/in a programme that is totally diluted ... ?

A little, it's not impossible, but there is a bit of a gap between 11th and 10th. West Ham have 2 games in hand, Fulham have 2 games in hand and we need to play Spurs and Swansea away. I'd take 11th - if the season ended up, we'd all be more than happy. What's the prize fund this year for 11th? What's the difference between placings, anyone know?

Exactly and this is what I REALLY liked about the match yesterday - the fact that we did something different as we knew Reading would be looking to disrupt us. The first 5 minutes or soworked for Reading and Adkins and they were disrupting the team somewhat and it appeared they were targeting Clyne more. However, once we started to put some pressure on (without playing the normal high pressure) and playing/passing in neat high-tempo triangles, the Reading players' heads dropped. But it was great to see something different from the "high pressure". Things are looking up!!

Could not agree more! Everyone I speak to says "but you were outraged that Nige was sacked" - my answer "football is fickle and Pochettino has come in and done exactly what he said - winning fans over through his football". The guy is immense so far!

Our house isn't metered for water. We've just moved in and I'm asking them to do it as they lumped a "rateable value" of almost £100 a month for water. I was paying £20 a month for 2 people on a meter before - ridiculous difference! £68 for gas and electric? Do you never have the heating on??

Rugby is totally different. Rugby is and always has been about the drinking and mixing with everyone - it does feel odd sitting with opposition fans around you, but I like it at rugby. I would hate it at football - different sport, different atmosphere, different occasions.

Think I agree - it's an utterly bonkers decision and a very weird time to get rid of a manager. Something else must have happened?
