What is the point of undisclosed fees? I've never got it.

Spot the fans who have only known/experienced football since Sky Sports and the "Premiership years" ... sigh.

[Daily Mail] Saints make formal enquiry to sign Danny Ings
Patrick Bateman replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Les Reed (25th April); "“We want to retain the players we’ve got. They are all contracted. They all have existing contracts and we intend for them to honour those contracts. Any enquiries we get will probably be met with a ‘no – not for sale’." -
Dejan Lovren hands in transfer request
Patrick Bateman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
My proudest internet moment! (Sorry Minty) -
Agreed!
-
Wouldn't say no - quality player, but probably still too expensive for us. Can see him turning up at QPR ...
-
But Clunge disagrees with you, so as that's not 100% of Saints fans agreeing with you, you're wrong.
-
Why do you come here?
-
Agreed - that match he was brilliant and we've seen flashes of it since. I do feel that Pochettino perhaps didn't favour him for whatever reason - probably just because Gaston didn't suit his style of play? Is there a Uruguay/Argentina rivalry?? (Clutching at straws with that one) But hopefully we'll see him more next season, I really hope so - will be like having a brand new £12m player

What a f**king boring match, actually started to fall asleep. Smalling shouldn't be a football. Wilshere is a bloody wimp and needs to man up and stop falling over. Milner is slow. Lampard is now on the way out. Don't get the fuss with Barkley. Sturridge is okay. Lallana not playing at his best from last season. Shaw looks good! Yawn.
-
Well he would be far better than Johnson, you can't possibly deny that? And no, Lukaku has a lot to learn, he can be an exceptional player, but last season the system didn't suit him and he was more often than not, anonymous for Everton. There is a reason Chelsea keep loaning him out and have slapped a ridiculous price tag on his head, obviously they get this too. He will be good, but we can't afford a) his price tag and b) to carry him in games he goes missing.

We need a colour that 100% of people support ...

Because we live in a Christian country that is still predominantly Christian (N.B. I would put myself in the 'no religion' bucket, for your info); "In the 2011 Census for England and Wales, 59.3% of the usual resident population (33.2 million people) identified as Christian. Muslims made up the second largest religious group with 4.8% of the population (2.7 million people). A quarter of the population (14.1 million people) reported they had no religion." [2011 census] To the second point, most people like having a Monarchy; "Britain would be worse off without the monarchy say 69% of respondents, while of 22% say the country would be better off. This 47-point royalist margin is the largest chalked up on any of the 12 occasions since 1997 on which ICM has previously asked the question." [The Guardian] Additionally, the Star Spangled Banner mentions 'God', the Italian anthem talks about God, Flower of Scotland talks about ancient wars with the English, the Irish anthem talks about Saxons, even La Marseillaise talks about slaves, fighting and war etc. The point is, none of them are very relevant, they are just anthems. Our's might not be the best, but it still belongs to us and I (as do many) still enjoying belting it out.

You really are a helmet.

What the bloody hell is THAT? Utterly vulgar. Was that designed as a primary school competition? I mean, I don't care much for kits anyway, but that is properly vile enough to make me post about it.

Surely the only modern mid-life crisis for a male is to spend in excess of a grand on a road bicycle, buy all the lycra and padded pants things and go out cycling all the time pretending you're in a "peloton" ...

He hates pompeeeeee, he hates pompeeeeee clap clap, clap clap clap, clap clap clap clap, clap clap he hates pompey. etc.
-
Don't be so dramatic. It's ridiculous how fans in the modern age 'worry' so much about CEOs and Chairmen etc. Oh Ralph Krueger, makes Steve Gibson look sh*te.
-
It's football, it's fickle. If Lallana goes, loads of fans will no doubt boo him for the first game we see him back, but equally if he's still here ripping Liverpool to pieces on the opening day, the same fans will be swaying their arms and saying he makes Messi looks sh*te. It's the "One Jerry Edwards" syndrome ...

Boys, sorry, we won't have a smoking room for you at this new complex, but here in the New Forest, we do have some of the countries finest 'shrooms ...

Could not agree more - Holland (a VERY good Dutch team) and Barca legend (a proper legend); http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M3FmMA9-QW0/TmeH8jJdCtI/AAAAAAAAS0I/0CtFhSD4EuA/s1600/Ronald+KOEMAN+Panini+FC+Barcelone.png

Torres. Amazing performance. S******.
-
Souness, Ball and Hoddle are up there too in terms of 'name'! But in terms of teams played for and current stature, I do agree.
-
My thoughts entirely! What do people want, Real Madrid 'B' to come along, smash us 4-0 at home and damage confidence? Okay, that might happen anyway with Leverkusen, but I doubt it.
