  1. I met him once, in about 2006, in what was the pub at the end of Town Quay - he gave me a lift to the Zeb bar after. He was there with Peter Reid's brother or something, all really weird.
  2. Is Redslo actually a spambot? On every thread ... !
  3. Yep, already decided this will be the last year I pay for Sky Sports as well. Also will be downgrading Virgin Media anyway to the base package as it's all just stupid money for stuff we never watch. Saving £50+ a month is more money for other things ... like football days out.
  4. Agree with that. I'm more likely to be able to attend Friday night matches over Monday night ones, especially after a long week at work ... I expect lots of people will be in that boat too!?
  5. It happens to everyone, after a while ...
  6. Typical, chip on shoulder, anti-Conservative, narrow minded, rubbish. Think of this way, what if there were a larger group of people than you think who wanted to vote for the Green candidate? What is that candidate made themselves better known with their campaign? What if you voted for the person you wanted, as you know, you're supposed to do and then what if more people did that? You never know, that candidate may get in!? That's the beauty of politics, sometimes a candidate with a decent campaign will surprise a few people, but they've got to have the backing of their supporters. You support that candidate, vote for them.
  7. Nice one!
  8. Oh come on, don't be so soft!
  9. Saintsforever were good days of wasted work time, but still not a patch on the old Network 54 days, or Saintsfun, or B-anter.
  10. I think he's Saints' very own Elijah Wood character?
  11. "Mark Ablett, 29, hurled the citrus fruit into the home crowd"
  12. You mean you don't introduce yourself to strangers by your forum name??
  13. Exactly this post. Art, please take note.
  14. *roll eyes thing* I suggest some of you illiterates read up on; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Bateman
  15. Ramming them down your throat and watching you choke on them? Yes.
  16. Because; 1. It's a little odd (and let's be honest, it IS) 2. It's fairly certain you have a pair of hairy balls
  17. Interesting, didn't know that! What odds he'll end up at Man Utd then? Or Liverpool who seem to never have enough attacking midfielders. The only thing I DO think is a shame is that I don't think he's developed enough at Arsenal, not as much as he should have. Theo has been injured a lot but is still a very good player on his day, Alex I'm not sure about.
  18. Jesus, come on Tim, you can do better than that! And to answer, no, I just think he's an irritating c*ck.
  19. But then so should Chamberlain who couldn't wait to join Arsenal and people applaud!? I don't see the difference. He could have been an even better player had he given Saints another year of first team football.
  20. Walking around in a new (off the shelf) suit, playing intern and setting chairs up, of course.
  21. ******** to him, he left, we got some cash, couldn't care less how does in the future.
  22. Rule 1, luv.
  23. It's exactly why I chose a Merc ... either that, or I'm getting old
  24. I bet you DO have balls ...
  25. It's frustrating for impatient drivers, but as well as rising two abreast, cyclists can also ride anywhere in the lane if the inside is uneven - and which road is smooth these days? Cars have to use the other side of the road to overtake. I do have issues with poor visibility at the moment, so many cyclists with dull clothes and/or dull lights. When I leave the station on my commute home, there are a load of people who cycle, most of them are very good and do all the right things, apart from the odd one who doesn't seem to care he's invisible. Mind you, same with pedestrians. I'm trying to leave the station onto a busy road, cyclists coming from behind on both sides, cars queuing, cars entering from the left and right to get out, then pedestrians with black coats/clothing suddenly emerge once you've worked out what's going on.
