Really? The9 was suggesting that we would and he seems to have done a great deal of useful research. As I said below his comments, I'll just wait for the draw!
-
You seem to be as big a w____r as Turkish: you two make a great tag team. I make a comment in amused support of Lou when she joked about your appearance immediately after her post, in an appropriate and less than serious way. You immediately coming steaming in and call _me_ obsessed, and start using the same sticks Turkish used to try and beat me. You're not even original! I've never said anything about or to you, so just go and pick on someone else, because I'm really not impressed.
-
And you've no sense of humour, as you've proved before. Maybe you just don't like me and Lou? Chi se ne frega.
-
So Lou, tell me.. is Turkish posting immediately after me just a coincidence?:-)
-
He didn't start out convincing though, and showed the same hesitancy in front of goal that Long does. It would be nice to think that Long could also improve, although suspect at this stage he won't. But even 1 more goal in a critical game would help..

There is one more vital match for Saints though, IC... After that there's the Women's World Cup and then my pre-season training. :-(

Alpine is better at it...

I see the Cherries have signed another keeper (Federici). Any comment Irene?

Who's digging out their 'Be a Gooner for the day' t-shirt?

Exactly what I was thinking before I saw your post.. -
It's a toss up between going to one of the easy to get to places early on (Belgium/Lux/NL) or hope that we get through and get a reasonable tie (in terms of location and team) later on. I fancy Genoa/Sampdoria as I could line up a place to stay there. As for the rest, well, most cities are within 200 miles of a Ryanair airport!;-)
-
Hah, I _knew_ I didn't understand! Well actually I didn't bother making the effort, and as you point out it'll all change when the CL rejects get parachuted in. My point about waiting still stands though. ;-)
-
Thanks for all the research The9; think I'll just wait for the draw and see, but sod £100 for a visa and expensive flights. I'm hoping more for somewhere like Dudelange or Differdange, jump on the ferry and stock up on Belgian beers on the way home... Based on the assumption that Arsenal actually win.

That one was quite funny.. The repetitive crap needs a response involving two half bricks though! ;-)

If only most of us could say the same about you: almost the most tiresome, negative, offensive and denigratory poster on here. Is it genetic, or do you think you could just give your persistent, cynical nastiness a rest? Please.

Boll ocks, not from being bad, but just because. Obviously offsides were a problem, our inability to shoot from range another, but we aren't far off being a team a place or two higher. We haven't looked out of place against any team this season, and the margins have been so fine. We've certainly been playing entertaining football. I do hope Arsenal win (!) and that we get a chance of Europe, preferably somewhere within a day's drive of the Channel ports!
-
You'll leave that to us, won't you? ;-)

I presume the stream mentioned on the OS is radio only: it's not clear!

In the meantime watch the U-19s - just warming up now: http://livestream.com/accounts/3909085/events/4064510

Inside or outside? I'm off to get another one: G&Ts get my gastric juices going, dontchaknow, and I need to eat before the stress at 3 o'clock..
-
I needed a lemon for cooking; for some reason some of it has ended up in a Gin and tonic, but I'm feeling calmer already. Ready for my cry when we don't get 5th.

I always remembered it as Osgood making the mistake? Talking of memory - Eric, I always thought the first two lines were the other way round!

:-) I used to be able to do the same with Turkish, but fortunately he got bored with his own boringness. Fascinating thread, and obviously most of the internal board references/posts escaped me and I still don't know who Verbal is in spite of his attempts to out himself: although that be due to a lack of effort on my part. It may well be my own self-defence mechanism after 20+ years on the net that I ignore the more gratuitously stupid posts, from whatever direction they are coming from. Meeting someone face-to-face is far better, as then you can assess them and, if you feel like it tell them they're a prat in a way you judge best for the situation. Talking of face-to-face: here's to next season's drinks..

I went to Saints first match back after promotion (lost 3-2 Lambert & Davis.. we were going to be OK..) and stayed in a room in student halls that they rent out in the holidays. Had a good night out in Canal Street the night before, some of the girl bouncers weren't too scary! ;-)

Deception in French means disappointment in English... (sorry about no accent)
