Thanks, TCK, but my house has been left in such a state by the tenant and then incompetence by the housing association in rectifying it that I've effectively written off August as I've had so much unexpected sorting to do. I will be adding my contingent losses though to the HA bill! Do I recall that you teach English? Memory not what it was.. I suggest anybody with ideas PMs me, as a thread has once again gone off the rails. Thanks again to those who have made suggestions, and I'm always up for a beer DP!

Incidentally, from what I can gather, Turkish keeps on going on about me playing football and living in Italy. He seems to mention it every time I come on here, far more than I do and even when it's not relevant. He doesn't go about Dubai_Phil who even has where he lives in his name, or anybody else with a particular interest. Funny really, and it's such obviously bullying behaviour, but most people will already have their own opinion about him. I suppose I'll have to tell him when I retire from football and live in Hampshire, just to humour him. Which reminds me, I've also done some support work in local hostels, so another avenue to investigate, though it doesn't pay well.
