  1. I'd rather have defenders who go in hard.
  2. snig ger. Sod me, this US software censoring. Can't they put s****** and S****horpe in to some exception list?
  3. I kept quiet. Didn't mean I didn't give a disguised rueful smile and a silent s******.
  4. Austin is more Old Kent Road..
  5. Just got back from a birthday 'do' in Portsmouth. On my table they were watching the game on a phone. They know I'm a Saints supporter but I had the decency to keep quiet. :-)
  6. There have been a number of articles I've seen from various sources in different countries that have been pretty damning of Boeing's actions (and those of their regulator). If I were a professional pilot I'd be livid.
  7. Thanks Batman. Let's hope we have a similar result to the one against Coventry on the last day. Wasn't that 4-0? Every sympathy to Hudds though: some cracking pubs there..
  8. There's definitely only one Alpine! I'd agree there is some doubt about the others..
  9. Obviously Liverpool gained a remarkable victory but the problem of listening on Radio 5 live is that you can't exactly turn the sound of the hysterical commentators down like you can with TV.
  10. Oh well. That was a a bit depressing apart from the start of the first half. I thought FF was OK in the first half until we gifted the ball to them for their goal: mainly Valery's fault but Stephens dropped back when he should have been closer for the simple square ball that was played. For the second Arnautovic did handle but if the keeper is going to punch, rather than hold, get it away from the middle of the goal. I was listening to a commentary in Portuguese: Long completely missed the ball and they mentioned that he had 4 goals in 5 games and then I think they were being sarcastic about was was needed to score in the Premier. His lack of skill was certainly evident today. As for Mo I thought he looked a bit stronger but presumed he'd be substituted before the end. The fact that he wasn't and then got cramp I put down to RH making a couple of points: to the player that he needs to get much fitter if he is going to play (90 minutes?) in the top division, and to the management that this is what I have to work with. Overall I don't think you can say anybody had a _good_ game although the match thread was full of the usual "everybody is crap and we're already doomed for next year" over the top reaction. We certainly had better play more effectively against Huddersfield.
  11. Forster and Mo in! JWP, Redmond and Oriol on the bench. Can see a couple of them coming on..
  12. Hmm, interesting line up..
  13. Well, at least RH knows the situation fully and sees him in training, but like others I'd still be worried with him in goal. So it's all out attack then!
  14. I hadn't seen that. Thank you! If this computer was in an office I'd be being looked at for the loud laughter!
  15. 3-2 or make that 2-3 :-)
  16. Oh dear, 2-0 down to Posh at home..
  17. It's a bit dangerous being an ITK on here but none of what you said seems ridiculous, and certainly Spurs would see JWP as being in their (Levy's) budget. I wonder if losing against Ajax will impact their spending? PS: did you ever get that PM?
  18. It's rather a long list. I think he's operating on the Dalek principle..
  19. Boom tish..
  20. Exactly my approach. Early in the season I started to think what I could do with the money I spend on going to Saints but I'm now enjoying going again.
  21. Yep, 5th June. Must be worth £3.50 on a cheap day return from my local station to have the opportunity to give him the finger. Heard the news when I popped in to my 90 year old mum this afternoon. "Boo" was her immediate response!
  22. A few useful subs there though. 90 minutes would be too much for Lemina, Ings and Valery all coming back from injury. Sims can come on when Watford are tired and a few are on yellow cards, which might give him a bit of protection.
  23. Wish I could remember but I wasn't driving.. but I think it was The Crown Posada. Lots of good ales and lovely ceiling fanlights, friendly home fans too.
  24. Hope you're feeling fit, there's an awful lot of stairs to get to your seat. The only away ground where I've been wary about standing!
  25. Don't forget the toilet roll for the changing rooms this weekend.. It's on the OS. Announcement regarding new organisation at the end of the season.
