Pretty laugh free, but did find the bit about Hitler buying shares in Pompey fairly believable!

+1 - movement, vision, passion and liveliness second to none as soon as he was called upon. Well worth a 1 year deal. Very pleased.

Isn't he also missing the point (or more likely, deliberately ignoring the fact) that we had to play one of our many other re-arranged games (against Rochdale) on the same day they had to play the D&R re-arranged game he's moaning about. So he basically has no point whatsoever.

To confirm, was in the hospitality and in the post match interview with Morgan, he said the Jaidi sub was tactical and he wasn't injured. Also said he himself should be back for last 2-3 games. -
Yeah, saw him reception in full Saints trackie gear on Sat and thought this was strange as I must have previously missed this thread. Fair play to him.

Interesting stat from OptaJoe on twitter. We have won all the last 13 games in which Adam has scored, hope that continues!

Got to be Swindon Supermarine. I'm approaching 30 and in my time supporting Saints I can't remember us ever drawing a proper non-league team. I know we had Luton last year, but I don't really count them as they are all full-time pros. Game against a bunch of postmen and plumbers would be interesting, a new experience as a Saints fan.

Suppose you could say egg's ben-a-****!

Would be happy with Howe if that happened. Young enthusiastic manager who has done well but still with lots to prove, would try to enthuse the players with his vision and not expect them to buy in to his history as some managers dropping down to this level might do.

Is Frazer the 1st player with a Letter Z in his name to play for us?

Beckford was contracted till end of June with Leeds but they were happy to release him early when it was clear he wouldn't be coming back. No reason why a similar thing couldn't be arranged here.

Great, thank you muchly! Have often thought of taking booze to county matches but always forget and have to spend the whole day getting stung at the beer tent, so wasn't sure how it worked. Whenever I have gone in before I have often seen people getting booze confiscated so I was a bit wary. This is further compounded by the fact the regulations state 70 cl wine, when of course a standard bottle is 75 cl. Suppose I will take 3 bottles but just drink a bit of each before we get there!
-
Quick question for those in the know. Going to the game tomorrow with a couple of mates. Want to take a little bit of booze with us to cheapen the day out. Club website says: No alcohol shall be brought into the Ground at Twenty 20, International or other major matches. At domestic matches other than Twenty 20, a maximum of 4 cans of beer or equivalent or 70cl of wine may be brought into the Ground. Now apologies if this sounds stupid, but this isn't very clear to me. If we enter together, are we therefore allowed 70 cl of wine each, so, if we have a bag with 2 bottles of wine in, we will be okay?

Fulham out on their arse here. Need to pray that they can hang on for penalties.

Will follow with interest what happens at Kenilworth Rd today. Luton 1-0 down from first leg of the play-offs. Still think Craddock could be a good shout and even more likely to want to leave if they fail to get promoted. -
Van Damme got accused of making racist remarks to an opposition player IIRC

Indeed it is on Sky!

Thanks! Thought I was going mad! Obviously this counts on us also beating Yeovil and Oldham, but the way we are playing we should have no fear in those two. Although Yeovil drew with Millwall, Beagrie on SSN said Millwall played very poorly. Maybe Marcus should start dangling some bonus carrots (if they are not already in place) too. Of course, we also don't need to overhaul Hudders' points total, given goal-difference, level will be fine by me!
