  1. I’m sorry but if you can’t laugh at the misfortune of those who striked or acted like spoilt brats and engineered moves away from your club who can you laugh at. It’s no more irrational than laughing at Pompey’s failures just because they happen to be quite near us geographically.
  2. I dunno, it looked to me like Ramos did it deliberately, he’s vastly experienced and knew what he was doing. Whatever happened before is not really important, he could easily have let go of his arm as they both fell, instead he did the opposite. Makes the way they lost even funnier.
  3. Rat face in tears
  4. Ironic that after all the players they’ve nicked off us they end up getting dicked by an ex-Saint.
  5. Yes Bale!!! Love to see an ex Saint do well
  6. ****ing brilliant
  7. Glad we’ve got it sorted, was the obvious thing to do. You get the impression that Hughes has walked into a set up and group of players superior to what he left. No reason why we can’t go for that Europa spot next season, as long as we invest in a few key areas. From Burnley downwards there is not a lot between anyone.
  8. I hope the victims get stuffed but I have a horrible feeling they are going to win it.
  9. Well put. I for one wont be spending another penny at that club until Gao shows some sort of commitment to investing in players, the very minimum we need to do is invest all of the VVD money.
  10. There is no problem with getting rid of players but if we HAVE to sell to buy it just means another net loss in players. It also means we have been blatantly lied to by Kruger who has said more than once that all the money we get from VVD will get invested.
  11. So did we miss out on our first choice last year because Les was topping up his tan until mid June?
  12. If we don’t have all the VVD money to spend then Kruger has been feeding us a pack of lies.
  13. Hopefully that is bullish!te. If it is not we’re nailed on for relegation next season.
  14. In fairness it was a self-induced cluster **** because we chose to sack a perfectly good manager. All the titting about with 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices could have been done in May whilst the season was coming to an end.
  15. It is if our manager wanted to sign Ricardo Pereira.
  16. Other clubs are buying and selling players - I don't see the logic in being managerless. Plus there is always the chance Hughes gets a better offer elsewhere and we are back to the start of a search for someone else.
  17. I expect the power tipped further in Hughes favour when Kruger announced to the press that he and his team were the perfect fit for the club.
  18. I don't think anyone on here doubts that there are better managers out there than Hughes, it just that after last season not many trust Les to find him.
  19. Yeah, because I'm sure getting rid of our only goal scorers is top of Hughes' list.
  20. Good to hear we’re looking to shake things up up front.
  21. Must be a genius to get 3 top ten finishes will such **** players then? That’s Stoke’s highest league position since the 1970’s three seasons on the bounce.
  22. Thats all fine and dandy if that is the case, I just hope it isn’t another car crash like last summer.
  23. Of course it makes a difference, every day we are managerless is a day less work done by the manager. Wether it’s researching players, planning, negotiating. Last season we lost a month through ****ing about, looks like they are screwing this up as well.
  24. It's just Reed dithering again. The idea that they would delay it for some news slot is just bonkers - no-one outside the Echo area gives a sh!t.
  25. You have to wonder wether we would have performed better against Chelsea had we not been in a relegation scrap. Hopefully the club take the cups as seriously next season, the only way we will grow as a club is to win stuff.
