  1. We could be in a bad way financially if we go down then, a bunch of **** players on massive 5 year contracts will hoover up the parachute payments in no time.
  2. This. I’ve spent £40 to spend 2hrs standing in the cold getting gradually more and more ****ed off.
  3. I think VVDick was our highest earner.
  4. I can’t see an organised protest doing any good, if there are protests it will happen naturally. You can organise all you want but if we stuff 3 goals past Spurs no one is going to be holding up A4s. I expect it to turn really nasty on Sunday if we get dicked. It will be 100% support for the team until the moment it becomes clear there is no hope of getting a result (Spurs 2nd or 3rd) then the fans will vent their anger.
  5. Yeah, and got sacked after 7 months.
  6. What’s the point of selling someone for £70mill if your not prepared to spend under half to strengthen?
  7. We've just flogged our best player, we're staring relegation in the face and haven't spent a penny on new players - you don't need to read a single page of social media to know the fans will be ****ed off.
  8. No way would the club take any notice of this nuthouse.
  9. Decent article, virtually everything they point out screams "bad manager" Too many changes Points lost from winning positions Previously reliable players off form Players obviously not motivated/happy
  10. Les Reed was Head of Football Development and Support which includes Scouting and Recruitment when Mitchell joined Saints in 2012. Another lucky one by Les?
  11. You have to give him some credit for our rapid rise up the leagues but we are where we are because of Marcus’ money. In football ambition = money, it’s that simple. We were always going to hit a ceiling, as soon as the dwarf figured that out he bailed.
  12. “Concerned by recent results” **** me they are clueless. We’ve been **** all season, we would probably be rock bottom if we hadn’t already played virtually all of our winnable home games.
  13. But football has a habit of making mugs out of successful business people. He obviously didn't plan on spending £200mill on a Championship club worth £50-60mill? but that might be what he has done. If that is what he's done what's plan b? Asset strip, cut your losses and leave a shell of a club or chuck more money at it hoping for promotion in a few years time?
  14. Exactly, and thats assuming the club were skint before they sold VVD (very doubtful considering the Sky millions and massive recent sales) and Mr "next level" Gao is not prepared to invest a penny himself to stop his purchase being worth a fraction of what he paid only months ago. £60mill should be a minimum.
  15. Yeah plus that one, That is also 75mill but with add ons. When you factor in our other massive sales recently, the Prem TV money which gives us a competitive advantage over most clubs in Europe, and the fact that we are supposed to have a new owner to "take us to the next level" - we shouldn't have much problem bring in players to improve the side even in a January window.
  16. Indeed. there are only a handful of clubs on the planet that have received a larger transfer fee than what we got for Van Dyke. Barcelona for Neymar Liverpool for Coutinho Borussia Dortmund for Dembélé Juventus for Pogba Spurs for Bale Manchester United for Ronaldo Napoli for Higuaín
  17. Day 17 still naff all, what is it, arrogance or apathy? We ****ing deserve to go down.
  18. Have you been in a coma for the last few weeks or something? You know that Van Dyke fella, we flogged him for 75million quid.
  19. Well that’s our one positive thing all ****ed up already.
  20. Problem is without a billionaire willing to speculate you can’t do it. When the money goes so does the ‘ambition’, it’s pointless moaning about it.
  21. I don’t blame Theo, you would need rocks in your head to take a wage cut and join the mess that is SFC at the moment. Why would anyone sign for a club when the manager is clearly on borrowed time?
  22. That’s the worrying thing. How’s he going to pay back the £200mill bank loan when we are stuck in the Championship? He could easily just asset strip to pay off the debt and leave a right ****ing mess.
  23. I not sure about that, you can have a hundred centre backs but if the two out on the pitch are not good enough you're going down. I'm happy with Yoshida and Stephens as backup but being a couple of injuries away from a Yoshida - Bedranek pairing is not strong enough.
  24. That's what happens when you leave it too late, no-one wants to join a club staring relegation in the face.
  25. His background is relevant though. If he was a lifelong Saints fan, or even someone with some knowledge of the game his comments wouldn’t be quite so irritating. He’s just some kid who happens to have a rich mummy, I don’t see what right he has to tell me I’m being too emotional.
