  1. So the final game has been turned into a swansong for Lumpard and a showcase for Man Utd's new left back - great.
  2. Don't give a sh!te about either of them. Talk of ethics is ******, people are perfectly entitled to work for whoever they want, they have done nothing wrong. I am also perfectly entitled to laugh like a drain when Lambert fails to start a game and turns into a fat lump on the Liverpool bench and when Pochetinno gets sacked in December.
  3. I would love it if Suarez leaves Liverpool for Barca or Real. The England v Uruguay game illustrated perfectly how valuable Suarez is, we had half a team of Liverpool players, they had the only good one.
  4. Our current England squad is the worst I have ever seen, whilst Lambert did well for Saints he is nowhere near the class of the other top strikers at the World Cup. I wasn't long ago when players like Ian Wright and Le Tiss were banging in 25 goals a season and couldn't get in the squad, how many did Lambert get - 14? The fact that he is in the squad shows how weak we are. However, it is the manager's job to get the best our of the players available and Woy has clearly failed at that. Costa Rica have qualified easily against he teams we have lost to so I would be happy to see him sacked.
  5. I disagree, I think where we are is the limit to England's ability, Roy has done an OK job.
  6. England are just not very good at football, we can throw the blame around all we like but fact is we are sh!t at playing football. And apart from one tournament 50 years ago where we had home advantage we always have been.
  7. Will be a painful game to watch if they get their hands on Lallana and Lovren as well as Lambert.
  8. Great, probably be a Lambert ****athon on Sky.
  9. Great news, has a mixed record but he may be a good fit with our youth policy etc. Most important thing is it looks like his appointment means we will have a decent war chest. Put to bed any asset stripping fears.
  10. Keep digging, what are you on about? It is obvious what the inquest will conclude, a copper made an error of judgement whilst trying to relieve a crush outside the ground causing fans to steam through into one pen and get crushed. Then the old bill, after a decade of dealing with hooligan football fans tried to deflect the blame. Whatever the inquest says it wont change the fact that the cages, that condemned those poor fans to their death were there because of the behaviour of football fans in the 80s. And the attitude of the police was also shaped by the same behaviour.
  11. The Sun is a rag but is no worse than others like the Mirror or Star. Fact is they obviously ran that story to appeal to people's perceptions of Liverpool fans at the time. It's easy to look at the events of Hillsbrough through today's eyes and forget the fact that many of their fans were vile, hooligan scum who had just been directly responsible for the deaths of many football fans at Hysel. That's why they were put in metal cages, thats why the police hated them, that's why so many people were happy to cover up what happened. It was a tragic accident but Liverpool's reputation was one reason why it happened.
  12. The scousers just need to draw a line under the Hillsbrough thing and move on. A policeman f*cked up, some people died - no one planned it or wanted it to happen, it was an accident just get over it. The Sun's reporting was incorrect, big ****ing deal, a million papers have written a million incorrect things since then, stop ****ing wallowing in it.
  13. A big name so should be able to attract a decent quality player. Mixed record though, seems to have been in an out of alot of clubs pretty quickly, not 100% on him.
  14. I did a Milan - Verona - Venice trip with the Mrs, would definitely recommend it.
  15. Isn't grabbing attention the aim of every newspaper on the planet?
  16. I just wish the would hurry up and appoint someone. I may be wrong but I have a feeling that behind the scenes at SMS Kruger and Reed are like an episode of Laurel and Hardy.
  17. They are ungrateful c*nts the lot of em. Lambert could have waited until after the World Cup but no, he ****s off at the first opportunity. Lallana and Shaw could keep their mouths shut but no, they make it crystal clear they want to play for someone else, they don't give a toss about the fans. I want England to do well but it will give me a little bit of pleasure watching the useless overpaid prima donnas get dumped out by Cost Rica.
  18. You just have to look at the map to see why they think they should be theirs, a lot of British people seem to have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to colonisation. We are all misty eyed about our armed forces because of the World Wars but fact is to many people around the world through history they have been seen as murdering invaders. Having said that the Falkland Islands should belong to the Falkland Islands, the people there have a democratic right that should be respected.
  19. This game has draw written all over it, especially if Woy picks that fat tub of sh!te Rooney. I've lost interest in England now all 'our' star players have decided to kick us in the nuts just before what should have been an enjoyable pride filled occasion.
  20. How sad, I loved the young Ones and Bottom when I was younger. He was one of the great comic actors.
  21. Neil Ruddock had a 100% record for us as well.
  22. Easily Le Tiss, took more at a higher level.
  23. I think journos can release news whenever they want, I expect he didn't have much to write about this week. Or he only just found out. Either way it's their job to write stuff and get people to read their publications.
  24. I just wish these c*nt footballers would just hand in a formal transfer request if they want to leave.
