    Trouble?

it was nothing really, thought the atmosphere was superb.
  2. They played well and with a bit of luck we could have won today, we needed to get the first goal. As soon as the game opened up their pace killed us. I thought taking Papa off for Barnard just made things worse.
  3. It's a sad state of afairs that he's even considered for England, good shot stopper, nothing else.
  4. Derby games are good but losing them will be a small price to pay for the feeling of joy we will get watching your fans cry whilst your crappy club is being bulldozed. I'm not expecting Saints to win tomorrow, any result we get will be a bonus.
  5. It's got to the stage now that I would be disappointed if they didn't go out of existence, their arrogance is just insulting now.
  6. I think I remember reading somewhere that the PL would not let one of their clubs go into administration but take control of the club's finances themselves. There would have to be the same sort of points penalty involved though I would imagine. I expect the only reason clubs like Bolton and Hull are not kicking up a fuss at the moment is because pompey are pretty much nailed on for relegation anyway. It's not in any club's interest to have the book thrown at pompey because they will set a precedent, Hull or Bolton could easily be in a similar situation soon so would want as much help as possible. if by some miracle pompey get themselves in a position where it looks like they might stay up I reckon the attitude of the PL will change big time.
  7. No chance because of the segregation, unless the rozzers are counted in the attendance.
  8. Time to stop messing about in foreign countries where we don't need to be and spend our cash on something else - like rebuilding our ****ged economy.
  9. Should be Kelvin IMO.
  10. Wouldn't it be fantastic if all this 7 day delay did was allow them to be humiliated, laughed at and dumped out the cup by us before being wound up. I'm begining to believe in this Karma stuff.
  11. I don't know why anyone is worried about getting a ticket, we are playng Carlisle and Wembley is ****ing massive, there will be loads of empty seats. Worst case scenario is you will have to get a ticket in the northern monkey section.
  12. If anything all this off the field crap and the fact that they are struggling in the Prem will give them more of an incentive to beat us. Think we will lose by 2 or 3.
  13. Storrie was obviously lying in that interview, you would have to be completely insane to buy that club now when you could get at after admin for a fraction of the price, and even then it's not much of an investment.
  14. Jammy ****s, have we got a bunch of pussies running HRMC or what.
  15. Does anyone know if their cases are similar/better/worse than pompey's?
  16. I hope I'm stood in front of Saint Stevo.
  17. Surely it's in HMRC's interests, unless they get paid in full, to wind them up? Otherwise it sends out the message to every other football club that you don't have to bother paying your tax and can bully HMRC into an agreement that suits you a few months down the line.
  18. I think it would be harsh and a bit dumb to sack Pardew just because we wont go up this year, we started on -10 and the squad was a basket case at the start of the season. Cortese is right to put pressure on him though, Pardew does have the tools to work with now, there should be an improvement before the end of the season.
  19. They must be able to loan out enough players to survive to the end of the season, then they will have the parachutes and maybe flog a few players. I suppose their problem is they have donkeys like Utaka on 80k a week, impossible to loan or sell. They couldn't even give James away.
  20. Surely it's in HRMC's interest to force the club into admin, at least then they know someone is going to be trying to recoup their cash. I doubt they will accept a penny less than what they are owed.
  21. Think actually watching the team would help you get a slightly more informed opinion though. Football is all about opinions, two people could watch the same game and have completely different views, forming your opinion from other people's is a dumb way of doing it.
  22. So actually watching the team has no relevance to your opinion of the team!?! I have heard it all now.
  23. A few weeks ago I thought the League was our main priority, hen the JPT (because we have a realistic chance of winning it) then way behind was the FA Cup. But now promotion looks very unlikely, even if we hit top form. We are a draw away from Wembley in the JPT and face the skates and are two games from Wembley in the FAC so it's hard to prioritise. Though the JPT is quite Mickey Mouse we shouldn't underestimate the value of a trip to Wembley.
  24. It should be an extra -2, Bournemouth had -15 because they failed to get a CVA and the fact that they have been in admin before made it -17. The Premier League might have different rules though.
