On here if that post is anything to go by.

Well, I do have an estate agent mate who confirmed that Theo has registered with him as a prospective buyer in the area.

Asking somebody to name their favourite referee is like asking them which STD they'd most like to catch. VD in case you wondered.

Have they signed Tevez yet?

Willing to flog a vastly superior HTC Desire (boxed and unlocked) to anybody interested for just £25 extra. Feel free to pm. Not desperate to get rid but happy to sell to finance move to iPhone.

Specialized Rockhopper A1 FS from 1996. Frame 18". Currently with wheels unattached but in sound order apart from that. Make me an offer and come and collect as it's on the way to the tip. Cost £600 new.

21000 before any on the day walk-up is pretty good isn't it? The majority of our attendances seem to fall between 20k and 25k depending on a whole host of factors so with a thousand paying on the day there's nothing alarming about our forthcoming attendance.

The interesting thing about Cortese is that his approach to running the football club is similar to Lowe's in many ways. The club's financial circumstances are very different and you could argue that he's more willing to finance a competitive playing squad (to what extent Lowe may have been willing to do this had our finances been different we'll never know) but there are many similarities about the way in which the two approach the running of our football club.

wtf is Alpine doing posting on a Hammers forum?

It's odd really. We do a lot of criticising of teams who play long ball but we do a fair bit of it ourselves, as do lots of teams. For some reason, some of us seem to think that Saints are some sort of Barcelona-esque side and, having watched them an awful lot this season, that simply ain't true.

I can't stress just how much it annoys me when somebody 'famous' dies and I have to listen to and see all these stupid public outpourings of grief. I can cope with a little bit of sentiment or respect but it's the extent of the usual reaction and the ridiculous amount of hyperbole that gets used which really annoys me.

Couldn't we do them a favour and loan them Guly or something?

I don't think a home brewing industry will be ignited by rising bar costs at all.

Great idea. Binge drinking is one of Britain's major problems; particularly amongst the young and the working class. Fixing the prices of all drinks would undoubtedly make people drink less.

Think you need to shop around at renewal time. I've always had policies with extras covered. Perhaps ask a decent broker like Chris Knott to find you a decent policy.

This site has one too. It's just stuck on Matthew Le God's bedroom wall.

If you step back and think about taking a draw from the Hammers away from home it seems ok. However, playing against ten men for most of the game, creating that many chances, many on target, whilst only scoring once, you've got to say we should have done better. You shouldn't be only putting the ball in the net once if you've got that many 'on target' chances; not if you're "controlling the controllables" anyway. Onto Derby and a win there would give us 7 points from the last three 'difficult' games and you'd have to be satisfied with that I guess.

Still think Adkins has got the midfield all wrong. Somebody on the right wing who isn't Guly all day long for me. And, perhaps more importantly, I'd like Hammond's bite in the centre of midfield so would have to leave out either Morgan or Cork. And I'm really disappointed for De Ridder that he's failed to make the bench again. In the two consecutive starts he made at home, I thought he played well. In the second game everything he did with the ball was positive and dangerous. People criticise his distribution but he fluffed just one pass in that game.

It's been brilliant; no sailors banging about their tin pot subs, misogyny and supposed military expertise.

It's hardly totally irrelevant Jonny. The price of frozen peas in Tesco is "totally irrelevant."

You realise places like CEX and Gamestation only pay about £25-£30 for these now? Add on a few quid for the games and you'll probably be lucky to get £50 mate.
-
Two stand out points from that. Apparently Guly had one of his 'good games' and 'played a short pass to Richardson' in the run up to the first goal. Case closed?

Looking for a couple of West Ham tix. Please dm if you've got some to shift. ta

Laying the ball off to an overlapping fullback is clearly one thing a winger can do in possession and it can work well, but for me that's what Guly's main plan was yesterday. Most of the time the ball came to him when he was stationary, he stayed stationary and just played it on to the overlapping fullback. I would have thought the winger should be mixing it up a bit; do the simple lay-off once or twice but then use a burst of pace to beat your man on other occasions. For me Puncheon and De Ridder would have offered more variety than Guly did yesterday. I'm really not sure why Puncheon lost his place tbh. I wasn't at the Millwall game so perhaps he had a poor game that night. His comeback appearances before that were impressive though imo.
