I once met Richard Dryden in McDonalds at Fleet services. And I was witness to Carlton Palmer and John Beresford being locked in a car park next to Barnet's ground by an over zealous security guard prior to a friendly in 1998.

Any odds on Rupert Lowe being the mystery backer? Karma, sweet, sweet karma.....

Re-read that last line of yours.... And then try and understand what an unpleasant person you paint yourself as (though I am sure you are a modern nihilist who cares not what others think).

This is LO's second game in 48 hours; they are bound to tire in the next 10 minutes or so. Time for us to really step up the pressure.

Was it my imagination or were we completely omitted from the show's League 1 highlights? They included Norwich and Millwall from Friday but forgot all about us because we played on Thursday. Or am I not seeing the wood for the trees?!

What cracks me up about these threads Is that certain persistent individuals continue to post the "it's not good enough" "we have not progressed" diatribe, but not once - not once- does any of these individuals suggest a more positive, more productive (in their eyes) alternative. So I would ask this of the moaners and wrist-slitters: given our historical lack of success when constantly changing managers; given where we were 12 months ago; and given that Pardew has not been in the job a year - if not Pardew, then WHO? If not Pardew then WHY not Pardew? Until somebody can give me an alternative route to success with a statistical likelihood of another manager doing better than Pardew, then it will just remain hot air spouted by the permanently miserable.

Back down to earth, but let's not lose our heads

Colinjb, take a bow. -
Thirded. Top chaps, top day. The first of many, I am sure.

Why, on a day such as this, could somebody find it in themselves to highlight the one possible negative pin in a haystack of happiness? Even if it did happen, why draw attention to it?? This has been THE GREATEST DAY IN RECENT MEMORY, and given everything we have been through in the last 12 months, I frankly don't care if some mindless numpties with Stella where their brains used to be, decide to boo the man who has helped guide us to where we are now - on the cusp of something special. They are NOT representative of sane Saints fans, and they do not represent me, so screw them. I am HAPPY today and will not let the OP or any other miserable git put a downer on this day.

Saints 4-1 Carlisle - 2010 JPT Champions - Reaction
InvictaSaint replied to Block 5's topic in Golden Posts
Wonderful, wonderful day. So proud to have been there with my 5 year old boy, who was a star on what was a long day for him. Home now and knackered! Noticed another Saint getting off the train at Rainham (Kent); if that was you, I did shout "hello" to you and wave! -
On a different note, does anybody have experience of taking a camera / camcorder into Wembley? I would like to take some pics inside and outside the ground, but what is likely to happen when we go into the stadium? Will they be confiscated?

Still no tickets here either. Looks like they'll be about 5000 of us queuing and how long is that going to take?? It is an absolute **** up of the first order and somebody needs their arse kicked for this. How fricking hard is it? Airlines manage it, concert venues, ferry companies - Christ, even bloody Eurotunnel can manage it! But ask Saints to send out tickets 5 weeks after you've paid for them and that is apparently too much to ask for, even with a £3 per ticket "booking fee". What a JOKE, an absolute farce of a disgrace. My 5 year-old son and I are now more than likely going to have to queue for God knows how long and why? What good reason is there? -
Female lino in those pics if my eyes do not deceive me; whatever happened to Wendy Tomms.....?

In related Skate news, I noticed that Sky 1 is running a programme called "The Krays" presented by Fred Dinenage. WTF?! Is this a precursor to his revelatory documentary on Storrieteller and Gaydamak?.....

Hearty congratulations Pancake! We have two as well - don't think we'll manage 3!!
