  1. Intelligence if you bother to actually watch him he does actually read the game very well when he is doing his main job of defending, sadly though he does punctuate this by playing the odd howler of an out ball that makes him look like he is wearing square boots, which in turn has everyone watching with their heart in their mouths as it re asserts the pressure from the oppos he has just relieved: sadly that one or two moments in a game clouds folks view on him overall. Jose has similar moments but seems to get forgiven. Yoshida was bought to replace/cover Jose and Lovren was bought to partner Yoshida playing in his natural position on the right side of the central defenders. And fair play to Jose he saw this and upped his game which ultimately kept Yoshida out of the side last year.
  2. Sprout!!! Grrrrr! 0Someone said 2 weeks ago on my Birthday 50 is the new 30!!
  3. Always a fantastic sound.
  4. Thanks for making me feel old......... I was 20
  5. I will play.................... A little. Job: Sales - Marketing - Product Development Manager Industry: Housewares - I am a Wooden Spoon salesman. Approx Annual salary before tax without bonus: Not enough for what I do compared to other employees of the company Typical bonus: Commission heavy, which makes me a top end earner in the industry. Approx take home after tax: Mrs JBS pays for nowt and I still have enough left to have frivolous moments. Approximate location: Ampshoire but UK is my domain and a dalliance world wide is sometimes thrust into my lap. Years of working experience directly relevant to your job: 29 years Level of education: CSE's and University of Life Additional job perks e.g. company car/shares: nice car, bosses have property abroad and twice a year we bugger off and play Golf probably totalling 10 days a year. Typical hours worked per week: if you divided my salary by hours worked I am probably sub minimum wage.
  6. A few Red cards across the various leagues this afternoon.
  7. Gone to see if he can find plan B
  8. Ticker on Soccer Saturday: OFF Ryan Bowman (Torquay)................................ FIGHT!
  9. See Mike Dean is on the Old Trafford payroll, let's the Manure player off for sliding in studs up and hurting himself, then books Dyer for a perfectly good combative ball winning tackle.
  10. You haven't quite grasped the personality of these fine pages yet my friend, it's a schizophrenic, glass half full, glass half empty, optimistic, cynical, euphoric, depressed, happy, confused. Most of us have figured out this summer that FFP has kicked the steps away for a new face to dare challenge for the title on a level playing field, and that these kind of deals help to build our own set of steps. The personality of this thread has been playful, which normally equates to the majority being happy with the new partnership. And in reality the comments on these pages are made by a very tiny minority of the Saints fan base. Still if Garmin are reading this, any chance of actually answering my technical question that you promised to answer by 2 days ago?
  11. Spuds - because even without the MoPo cobblers they are a pain in the arse.
  12. 2XL in the last Umbro (Pinstripe)
  13. Yup AND I have 6" Stilettos to match.......... You saucy boy
  14. Rather than start a new thread retrieved this from the murky depths. Being a very lucky boy and getting 2 home shirts for my Birthday (there you go nicely set up for the jokers) I went to the megastore and swapped one for an away shirt. I said that I would take a 4xl as they were "the largest you do". "Oh no says the young lady we have 5xl too!". As I tried it on she said new stock was coming soon and that they are considering going up to 7XL because they came in much smaller than expected!! She then said that even she needed a 2XL they were so small, looking at her you thought, who the hell test drove them before signing off the order?! When I got home and gave Mrs JBS a twirl we discovered that XL means Extra Long, still I ain't going to get a cold bum this winter!!
  15. So long as the understanding communication and the grasp of the system has been nailed down in training, it could be quite interesting as someone like Liverpool will play in an established way whereas with us pretty much having to put the whole thing back together with unseen players could make us the jokers in the pack................. A pipe dream I know, but it would be funny to perform straight out of the box and in doing so stick 2 fingers up at the cobblers that has gone on this summer.
  16. Surely Watercress will come before Broccoli seeing as Hampshire could seek independence and survive on the export income of that alone!
  17. Wasn't he the chap who took a free kick from near the angle of the sideline and the center line and it went straight in?
  18. Going on Ronald's attire on Saturday evening, I think he already has a company one of these parked up in Ocean Village.
  19. That explains why Garmin have failed to come back to me with an answer to a technical question I asked them within the stated 48hrs they said they would, about being able to recharge one of their products with my recently acquired Veho Pebble, they have obviously been too busy dotting the i's and crossing the t's on this deal. Veho by comparison when they were asked the same question came back with an answer in 3 hrs, obviously because their feet are already under the table with Saints.
  20. Football certainly is a looney bin, Pullis might not have been Sir Alex Ferguson and he might have dished up some bloody stubborn football, but Palace were a bit of a basket case until he turned up............. And we all know about the resilience of Stoke when he was there, love em or hate em Palace fans will certainly looking for Parish to pull a bloody great big Rabbit out of the hat.
  21. Maybe Welbeck demands European football and his head is already in the Humber rather than the Manchester Ship Canal!
  22. I guess with Manchester being full of naughty thieving little oiks, if you have gone to the game from work you are going to be not so keen to be leaving your lap top in the boot of your car sending out its little signature even when switched off!!
  23. Duh that will put the prices up from the already 200% they are already making............ With that in mind very surprised Popcorn hasn't turned up as that gives Cinemas something like 4-6000% profit!!!
  24. That's there too, well it was under the Kingsland on Saturday evening "No Cash - Contactless only" was what the sign said............ Probably as a result of the number of folks handing over £10 to pay and getting £12.50 back in change!!
