  1. I sent this this Morning To: customerservices Subject: Saints Player Good Morning I have recently signed up to Saints Player, unfortunately I am at the end of the copper wire for my Broadband so the speed varies, I have found that when playing a video on the Saints player it buffers with frustrating frequency. I have the latest Flash Player and run it through Google Chrome. Is there any chance of you changing the run bar so that I can pull the play position back while it continues to buffer the rest of the Video, as this works for me when playing Videos with this kind of input. I have tried switching from High to Low with no Joy. To be honest if I get a stuttering performance continuously I will probably cancel my subscription at the end of my trial, Please remember not everyone gets the lightspeed connection speeds that they waffle on about on the adverts. Thank you for your attention in this matter This was the reply that I received ....................... Seems a bit standard issue as everything is running properly and every other streaming site works. Dear John Thank you for your email. Maybe some of the information will be of use to some of you out there. As I say I am at the very end of the wire my maximum speed is recorded at 800kb and averages about 625 both of which the know alls about this subject are amazed at. as BT will not be speeding the system up for another 2 years at least I might just be knocking Saints Player on the head. No offence to anyone who sells iT, but I very rarely hear of anyone who has bought a "wonderous" service, system, that works straight out of the box.
  2. Being behind the goal is a footie experience so why not open it up to families. Although I suspect with the closure of 3 corners last year as the J-Saints corner is self contained with facilities moving it to the Chapel means that they can now close that corner if the crowds are too small.
  3. Reading that feels like it was really meant rather than just words to appease the customers
  4. Driving past a aggregate depot in Narbonne southern France there was an array of Leibherr equipment in use and on display, so I nudged the wife giggled and tugged my forelock in their direction. Nice to see that I am not alone in this childish behaviour.
  5. A family is driving along behind an Ann Summers lorry when a giant Dildo falls off the back of the lorry and hits the windscreen. To hide her embarrassment the Mother says to the children in the back "gosh that was a very big insect!". To which the 7 year old son exclaimed "I am suprised it could at all with a willy that big!!".
  6. Probably have been around Southampton, most of the ones that I have seen further afield are sparkly, shiny and new.
  7. Just don't let him take a free kick from the right a few yards into our half in the direction of the Northam.
  8. I saw one of the Blue Few dribbling and drooling with lust in his eyes over the fish counter in Carrefour, Palafrugell northern Catalunya, just over a week ago. Truth be told it was a very impressive fish counter on certain days of the week, One big temptation was shell on King Prawns at £5.30 a Kilo.
  9. Blimey there are some jokers on this site "too lightweight for this division": he has done this division already, and was a major factor in getting the team he was playing with (Blackpool) out of this division. Blackpool begged to buy him but we refused to sell. The one thing I noticed last season when Gillett was in the team we had a better tempo to our play.
  10. Anyone know the reason for the sudden sprouting of blue signs alongside the Motorways telling you which road you are on and the numbers on the bottom are Kilometres from the start of the motorway. Seems like we are pulling our trousers down for Brussels again.
  11. I still like Clare Tomlinson................. even if she does support Spuds. (I think it might be the Stilettos) :-\"
  12. 6 minutes out Cynical not sarcastic Cynic = An optimist with experience
  13. Nope we are due on at 00:04
  14. I must have blinked and missed something through all the TV contracts flying about, for those of you in the same boat as me League Cup highlights on BBC 1 at 11:15pm (2 minutes) just hope they have gotten rid of the echo they had in the Saturday Championship show
  15. I think we best save that one for another day, the last time we sang that 2 seconds later he is off the bench putting the ball in the back of the net.
  16. Yahoo we are a potential Banana Skin!!!! :smt038
  17. Up until a few weeks ago we were heading down the gurgler into a dark place, quite possibly the people who did run the website before found employment elsewhere more solid, so as a result the people now doing it are making the most of their ability in the short term also remember we are now a 3rd division side without the income streams that we use to enjoy in the prem. Something that backs this up was walking into the Megastore last night I was amazed at how sparse it looked for the start of the season, calling on retailers in my job if the Megastore was a new account (without me knowing the history connections etc) I would proceed with a great deal of caution for fear of bad debt. Just cut the periphery departments of the club some slack for a while, everything needs to be rebooted and the first place that we all want to see that is on the pitch. Remember most teams and their fans when they visit us this season will look upon us with wonder and awe at what we have as it is now.
  18. The Northam was a bit quiet last night!! ;-)
  19. Sky Sports News 10:30pm when the possible extra time and pens in tonights game will have been completed.
  20. I would say not, despite their troubles they are 2 leagues ahead of us and as AP has said we are still deficient in some areas, so why give p*********h the possibility of a lift and us a possible disapointment when we need winning momentum.............................. Now round 3 of the FA Cup would be a different matter.
  21. That was likely to happen with un reserved seating, anyone who went to that friendly game against someone or other after we went out of the Cup under WGS, the whole stadium was unreserved that night and it was carnage as the whole stadium was sold out. Learn from these experiences................and turn down that one last beer
  22. First comment to Missus John Boy when he scored "That's what we have been missing up front; someone not scared to put his head in where it hurts". A slight concern from the OS piece, at 27 he is still getting his left and right mixed up: but then if he keeps scoring who cares :-)
  23. Millwall's Alan Dunne gives his recently acquired hand buzzer a trial run to great effect.
  24. Not really considering his ability to hit the back of the net, Rovers were not going to let their ace striker depart for £2.50, a picture of Bobby Charlton, a Conker, and half a chewed toffee. I would say getting hold of him is a bit of a coup, and a big change from the wonky donkeys we have become experts at picking up under the previous regime.
  25. 2 for 1 or a BOGOF?
