Does the Swiss Flag fly all week outside St Mary's or only on Matchdays when ML is in attendance.............. Just like when the Queen is at home in Buck House or Windsor Castle.

Amazing how the OCD stalker fans don't get winkled out of these things just about everyone at the club know who these folks are, they don't contribute anything just waste time on other peoples more valid question. I am surprised Mr McMillan can face being associated with Southampton Football Club anymore seeing as we are now owned by a Billionaire: doesn't quite fit in with the socialist ideal, unless you are a Bollinger Bolshevik.

Is that where the Rozzers were off to in a great hurry down the Northam Rd after the game?

Ditto with Chez My thoughts on Jaidi and Trotman on the final whistle were that Jewsons & Mixamate have finally found their way to SMS with the bricks & mortar delivery.

At last a win, just need to get rid of the magnet down the left side expanding the play, the biggest frustration seeing Lloyd James probably our best crosser of the ball doing The Times crossword while school playground sheep football up cul de sac's was being played on the other side of the pitch. Nice to see the dice of dodgy decisions being rolled in our direction for a change, that said the ref looked out on his feet just before half time. Hopefully after 5 draws this will be a positive change of habit in the right direction. Very nice to walk back to car over the Northam Bridge with the warmth of a win and the Sun on your back on a Saturday afternoon.

I have to say from the Chapel Saga's looked a pen from behind despite the 9.5 fall to the ground, the second was on the side of the Chapel where I sit and I have to say I thought it was a crap offside decision that I was giving the lino grief for until someone said refs given a penalty. For the next five minutes what the lino had seen was the topic of conversation all around because no one spotted the hand ball.

I think once he has got his eye in he will become a bit of a fans favourite.

We have had the shirts with the Poppies on around Remembrance Sunday, I was thinking something a bit more independent from annual national concentrated campaign. Being a predominantly male attendance something like Testicular Cancer, would be an obvious choice, especially as it is such a big killer with the media almost treating it as a "oh by the way" story.

Best keep my camera phone at the ready just in case my Wife, Father, Father in Law, and Boss decide to have a "funny" turn.

Perhaps we should have a bucket Leukaemia Research collection before the Home Stockport County game. Or maybe at least one game a season a Charity matchday with collections, special players shirts, matchday, and matchball sponsors being a Charity of this type, Barcelona and Aston Villa both do it all season; and we are a much bigger team than they are. :-)

Are you sure you weren't trying out the iPhone have you got a Pimple on your Botty App? I know a few folks who now avoid the need for medication because they changed the way they eat.

John Boy Saint replied to John Boy Saint's topic in The Muppet Show
Its a shame all 601 people who have looked at this thread did not make a comment, making it a worthy contender for the Golden posts section -
A tough game against a team who are riding on the crest of a wave, we have the millstone of -10 to add to our approach which must be playing on the players minds fearing a loss is not forward movement. That was probably the hardest point we have won listening to the commentary. I have a feeling inside that we are going to meander to the zero points mark before we get a win........................... Its the kind of thing Saints would do.

Well said that man (I presume). We have a clean slate now: No Gasometer up or down, no tide in or out, no walking through the underpass or over the lights, no lucky socks (or pants) nonsense. New dawn new superstitions and omens............................ Just someone get that White Witch back for a top up of what she did before. Hopefully he has rubbed a few of them up the wrong way already add that to the disruption to pre-season all going out of the window and we might get a sniff.

blimey he must be good as in the space of a day 404 people have had there t'uppence h'apenny on him. Hopefully his style is more suited to English footie than Italian snorefest

Blimey you learn something new everyday. I bought a Cd of the Genesis concert I attended at Old Trafford a couple of years ago, the CD was "pressed" and distributed by The Music .com in the states everything was in Dollars. There was an Anoraks boxed set of the whole tour US and Europe for lots of money but nowhere did it mention Import tax.

Lost in a Good Book ~ Number 2 in the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde, you get lost in the recesses of your mind reading Jaspers work; all a bit in the genre of Terry Pratchet. Also recently investigated the 1st of the Flashman series which was quite entertaining. Prior to that Three Men and a Float: 3 blokes and a Milk float travelling from Lowestoft ( the most easterly) to Lands End (the most westerly) amazing how generous people were along their route, a some "well I never know that about there" moment.

My hair looks like a yard broom unless I stick some product on it to calm it down; this week I am currently using Fructis Hard Gel, in a little green dumpy round pot, recently on a BOGOF at my local Tesco shopping emporium. HTH

Quiet afternoon at work then!? ;-) That reminds me of the fine days when you could buy a copy of the Beautiful South when it was in its independent mode, or the Ugly before it got weighed down in politics.
