banged to rights - posting under the influence buggered up my Saints chronology.

All this chat about the weather playing into Burnleys favour, Rain might not be an issue but 60mph winds are going to play havoc with their hoof it up front game. If the winds are that strong a hoof into the penalty box is going to have to be starting out aimed at the control box in the Itchen Northam corner for the wind whipping over the Kingsland roof getting caught under the Itchen roof and blowing back across the pitch towards the Kingsland. Should see some wayward football all round.

That is sad news, Dave Watson was top drawer, if he hadn't shocked the World signing Keegan Lawrie getting Dave Watson would have caused a spin in itself. Think the moment he he smiled at the oppos in the tunnel after taking out his front false teeth, half his afternoons work was done!

Said already - 10 minutes to put on a replacement pair of football boots at Wolves, can be slotted in alongside that - anyone still holding a candle for this guy................

...................Because you keep listening to it??

Donkeys years ago the away was Old Gold like Wolves

Deja Vu?! ...........bet they are still dining out on that in Monte Carlo

He played right back against us last season, felled Armstrong for the foul JWP scored the winner from.

Beat me to it - most league one and two teams have a grasp of reality in realising that divine intervention is the only likely way they will be finding themselves in the final. When the 3rd round draw is made and the remaining minnows and Lower league clubs are interviewed they just about all want to play a big team with a big stadium - players to tick a box, club for a lumpy cash injection.

Just seen Tranmere have taken Watford to extra time and are leading 2-1 with 2 minutes left!

Thought I saw something about the Sport Science department at Southampton University and its tie-in we have have had with them for many years, when the boys return after their summer break most of the body analysis is done by people from the Uni who crunch the numbers to both parties benefit. They learn, we learn and the depth of knowledge over the years of working together must be quite significant most likely helps to develop the right maintenance package for each player.

I spoke to Glenn about this a few weeks back at a St Marys dinner. I asked him did he see it coming "obviously I didn't, I knew nothing about it, I only knew what happened when I saw it on the News". "I didn't realise my jaw was broken until I found I couldn't eat my Fish and Chips that evening!". "The one thing I do recall was earlier in the game during a skirmish with the ball we both fell over each other I landed on top of him and he said that he would get me for that.......just thought it was one of those things people would say". Glenn said apparently a few season before they had a little insignificant run in during a game - which obviously had been simmering locked away inside him until that moment. Beattie who was also in attendance said he was shocked that Davis had it in him to do that, as he sees Davis on the FA coaching courses and has done for a few years and doesn't seem to be a person with a nasty bone in his body.

Palace 0-2 Saints. Wild celebration reaction thread.

We had the whole side stand for that game - the locals were up in arms about our generous allocation - Steve Parish their chairman was a poster on their version of SaintsWeb and he pointed out something along the lines of by giving us such a huge allocation we pretty much financed their academy for the next couple of years - seeing as he had on recently stepped in to save them from administration- the majority went “oh Ok”. -

I can remember a recentish one - Slug and Lettuce Clapham ran out of Doom Bar before midday - got to my seat to find my view was so poor that I couldn’t see a wedge of the pitch from the halfway line to the goal post - and we lost 1-0 to a spawny goal that Gazza had no chance of saving (he played well) on a dirty drizzly swirling windy afternoon. -
Marvellous - I now have a contact with a van in Krakow to pick me and the boss up at Krakow airport and run us down and round Gorlice - and we only have to bring a heap of peanuts to pay him with!

Just in case the rarefied atmosphere of 9th is making you a bit giddy https://evaq8.co.uk/air-for-life-emergency-escape-breathing-device.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7MSyx9WV5wIViK3tCh2zxwTqEAQYAyABEgKvI_D_BwE -

Cheers for posting that, as I have since the Villa game I have tried extremely hard to avoid dodgy streams and actively following the game, at the same time my mate has been at every away since Villa so we are torn between him going and me not watching Chelsea might have shown who is the lucky token! Thought we were a bit P’d at the Wolves result, seems we were annoyed and did something about it. Good to see even with the pack shuffled just like at Chelsea we are becoming a pain in the backside, we certainly like the Yellow and Grey kit too. Great pass by “Cafu” Stephens up to Redmond - he’s made a few goals recently striding out of defence and pinging a great pass upfield. (Bet he had a few words with Vestergaard). What does Zaha think he is playing at trying to get a reaction out of JWP, bloke must be thick. -
Um Pahars showed his face the other day - that was a blast from the past, although I think he resides on the other channel if my brain hasn’t deserted me. Alpine is still here - just one of his alter egos from North of the border is probably spending too much time trawling the betting sites or polishing his golf clubs to dust him off - probably get another PM off him for posting this now........... C’est la vie 8)

Battled to keep my eyes off the Palace game to try and keep the run going (I know silly) watched The Blades v Citeh on BT and they had that Dempsey bloke who did the Boxing on Sky, Christ he was painful...........I was actually willing Clive Tyldesley or Peter Dreary into the chair.

We saw that at the Spurs game - Wife begins the ascent of the Chapel steps armed with a pie in both hands, husband trailing behind her with a coffee in one hand and a pint of beer in the other - pretty much as everyone had taken their seats so no congestion at the top of the steps to hide the beer in. Fair play to them and other obviously thought likewise because no one grassed them up

Blimey looking like Ings might be the last man standing for an Ingerland call with Kane broken, now Rashford is Broken with a double stress fracture in his back according to social media reports and martin Tyler on the commentary just now

Made a change not to walk out of St Mary's after a loss looking for the cat to kick. Hope it is just a reality check, other results made ours a hiccup. Weirdly I thought when JWP got his yellow we lost a little in midfield.

You have got Kids a Quid so expect to have the back of your seat kicked and having to get up and down to let folks out with tin lids desperate for the facilities............. Bloody great being a moany old git!! Wolves supporting customers and ST holders in those parts think we will be bagging all the points.
