  1. Donald Trump goes on a fact-finding visit to Israel. While he is on a tour of Jerusalem he suffers a heart attack and dies. The undertaker tells the American Diplomats accompanying him, 'You can have him shipped home for $50,000, or you can bury him here, in the Holy Land for just $100.' The American Diplomats go into a corner and discuss for a few minutes. They come back to the undertaker and tell him they want Donald shipped home. The undertaker is puzzled and asks, 'Why would you spend $50,000 to ship him home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only $100? The American Diplomats replied, 'Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. We just can't take the risk.'
  2. Maybe they were hoping the same evidence against Big Sam would tar the others?
  3. It doesn't matter to Moyes. He's got his point to focus on and moan about. It's easy to lose that way.
  4. It seems a reasonable plan unless anything spectacular should happen. I wonder if Fonte's replacement is already in the club?

  6. Don't be silly.
  7. Any pics of the view?
  8. It would be interesting to see the evidence that articles with pictures have more weight in a message than text only and also how many text only articles there were.
  9. Was it Arsenal '04 and the 2-2 game where he could have had a hat-trick?
  10. Got it thanks, a good read. Came second class but happy money goes to charity.
  11. It's a strange one. All but the odd owner has brought misery and club reincarnation. Now they have an almost half say in the club, feel a connection with the club through the PST shares. The club is doing well in league two, why risk a possible adventure to the Championship which could bring back the cycle of debt and club rebirth?
  12. I went for the top selling item in the end. Couldn't resist!
  13. Should know more later today as he was due to have a scan after the inflammation has subsided. Initial estimate yesterday was 2-3 weeks. The scan should confirm or extend that.
  14. It depends on the content of the code. If it's anything like the one where I work, he could be out having had discussions or not reporting it through the appropriate channels. Not until the full transcript is made available can a judgement be made.
  15. I presume the club have a code of conduct which all employees agree to and would cover bribery and bungs and such like?

  17. Allardyce phones up Direct Line for a car insurance quote... "fully comprehensive Sam ? "no just Third Party thanks.....
  18. So if there was a player that was third party owned which he picks for England, his value would go up. The company would then cash in on his rise in value... All thanks to Sam in helping the company find investors and directly affecting the player value while getting paid by this other company. Don't you think there is conflict of interest? Third party ownership of players was banned in 2008 by the FA and 2015 by FIFA. Sam, was advising how to get around these rules. Sam is employed by the FA who introduced this rule. Don't you think third party ownership should be banned? Sam mocked his predecessor and a few others employed by the FA. Not very professional. A minor point, but Do you think that attitude is right for an England manager?
  19. They have brought in about 8 players over the summer which is a lot and they seem to use a scatter gun approach to recruitment as they didn't get cover for their weak positions. Combined with a new home ground and injuries or delayed return of essential players have all made an impact.
  20. If you could link to your SISU assessment that would really shut people up.
  21. Do Newport have a separate Trust? We don't know how much PFC have in the bank only the supporters group (trust). It's a question of whether they kept the money in the bank in case supporters want to relinquish their membership and ask for the money back. Or use it to raise the holding in the club from the 48.5% they currently have. Can the trust sell their holding in PFC?
  22. What have Pompey done to you this time Mack?
  23. Not a fan of bayesian statistics then?
