Four minutes of stoppage time.

In the season before last, someone at the Beeb worked out that had he/someone bet on his predicted results, a small profit would have been made. No idea about last season though.

Nice article for Saints and also raises the question of just what are the FA suits doing to improve coaching and supporting grass roots football in this country?
-
Although not a first teamer, he was included in the pre-season tour and played is Jason McCarthy. So would expect he'll be available if required.

Thoroughly enjoyed the the JPT adventure as a League One side and glad we won it. I would take the League Cup win over fourth place. Great to win some silverware to add to the honours list, fourth only gets a Play-off game to the the Champions League and it'll be against a team that has a high co-efficient so is likely to be a difficult opponent.

That's the bias, it's why you need to ask the question first rather than start with the answer!

Mr Grey... Reminds me of the John Major spitting image puppet.

For those who think can/will finish higher than 8th this season

It would be nice to see a bit more of Targett, McQueen and Reed etc get some first team game time, so when called upon its more of a seamless transition than an adjustment to accommodate for an absent first teamer.... Or perhaps the coaching staff feel they can step up regardless? -

Well, agree with RK, one day at a time, signs are positive though. -
Yes, it's certainly got colder this week!

When it could have been many more? Joking aside, agree with Steve's assessment on him.

Awford says ‘Obviously, we are not scoring enough goals – that is plain and simple to see, whether that is personnel, whether that is creativity, whether that is system, whatever it is let’s analyse it and try to get back out there tomorrow night and start scoring some goals again. You assess it every game and that is no different. I am going to have to look at a few things definitely.' Yes Andy, give that 8 (eight) ball another shake to see what to do next!

Wow, go you! If you don't understand it's ok to say so. When your income is £150m+ then the £2-3m is easily absorbed. Which demonstrates cheaper tickets are possible and doesn't make as big an impact as the OP suggested and I haven't stated they should be cheaper. There are better ways to cut costs than relying on ticket prices increases to bridge the gap. I would expect the average PL transfer is more than a 10% increase in ticket price. However, I would argue that some clubs do not wish to be run in a sustainable way considering the PL having to introduce FFP rules. Some clubs will spend regardless up to the limit, either by having an owner injecting some cash or suffer the consequences.
-
So say £20m for tickets, if they cost 20 percent less, then that £4m wouldn't be a great lose in the grand scheme, with a potential of increased match day sales from more fans attending, so maybe a £2-3m lose at the end.
-
What percentage is the ticket price in the matchday revenue?

Just the recipe for another season in league two.

That's typical, gloating on how well financial they are on the back of those renegotiated deals and the 98% wiped out debt.

As Stage Hypnosis relies on people willingly acceptable to suggestion or happy to comply to instructions, I don't think they will be short on volunteers!

I doubt he would be able to get anything near that level for his next contract even as a free agent, unless his agent is fantastic or is a mate of Harry.

Guardian have a knowledge page on the closest derby record, not good reading for the bestest.

Robbie Savage apologises to Saints fans

Exactly, if they say they are pundits, surely a bit of research would have given them what is important to all the teams. It seems a bit lazy to rely on who is left in the squad. Doing a bit of investigation is not a foolproof approach but he'd certainly gain plaudits having stated something new and probably be more accurate in his predictions. The only issue which didn't help is not knowing the whole squad if he was predicting before a ball was kicked and the potential for further loses. Perhaps pundits should wait until the end of the transfer window before making a judgement. I haven't a clue who is going down, it's pure guess work as I don't know much about the other teams and don't have the time to do the research. But I don't call myself a football pundit. -
I have to agree, the same thing happened to me! Great food first time but then about four years back, it lost its flavour.
