Just listened to a bit of the Utd /Real Betis game , sounds like basically if you stop Rashford you stop Utd . But stopping Rashford is a big ask of anyone . Also thought I recognized one of the Betis players .Juanmi think he is the one who spent a rather unsuccessful season with us a few years back . He set up the equaliser.

I have only been listening to this podcast for a little while . Because of my advancing years I didn't really know what a podcast was .Thank you grand children. But I have enjoyed what I have heard and to be honest I had very similar views to Glenn, so much so that I didn't go to the game last night . Now I feel like a total k**b and I think there is something to build on for the future . Saturday is crucial . We need to win but if the performance is there and a win is not forthcoming through bad luck or a poor decision I will not be so hasty to critisise.

On the original point of this thread about away fans in with home fans . For the first time I actually looked at the "Matchday information" on the O.S and saw this Attendees are advised that home end tickets are only to be purchased by Southampton FC fans. Away supporters will not be allowed access to home stands or will be ejected if found in home areas of the ground. I am in the Itchen North and when we point out away fans we are told by the stewards there is nothing they can do if they are not causing trouble . A bit confused by this I must admit.
