I vote we abbreviate his surname to make him more identifiable - how about we affectionately call him "Pelle"?

Looking at a tweet a day or so ago, seems like he's on holiday with Butland. Good mates from both Birmingham & U21 days then, I guess. Hopefully doesn't mean he's prefer a move to Stoke.

Hasn't really said anything, for me. It's a collection of footballer speak bingo phrases probably spoken without much thought being meant or applied. Then again, I thought Ronald was being sincere in his wish to see out his contract, so what do I know about translating what's said into what's meant.

A neatly timed release of some positive news ahead of Ronald's inevitable departure, if I was being cynical. Whatever, hope we get this completed as I think he has real promise. If we could hang on to Mane, too, our pace going forward could be frightening at times.

Perfect response. Hope he genuinely believes it! Did he expand on that (i.e. saying how good Koeman had been for the players/club) or was that it? He doesn't sound too distraught about Koeman's departure, if it's the latter (although I accept it wasn't not the ideal forum for a more indepth response from him).

It was Ronald who was talking about him being told for a new deal. I wonder if a change of manager will brin a change of approach? I'd keep him at St Mary's.

I genuinely like Sammy Lee & I'm sure he has a really positive influence on the squad. It'll be a shame if he goes. I should also say the 2 substitute appearances he made for us are among my highlights as a Saints fan.

Brilliant manager for us but no point having him here if his heart is not in it (or head if he's moving to Merseyside like Dejan!). #wemoveon. Again. Just hope it wasn't something which could have been resolved in our favour by the board & it is all about him seeking more money/having taken us as far as he can/ambition/whatever else.
