  1. Yeah I got that too 😂
  2. Get on that Huddersfield forum
  3. Who ever claimed that?
  4. Dont see how our performance will be any worse than what was dished up the second half of last season or the end to the previous season under Ralph where we didnt win for months. I literally lost the will to watch Saints last season and would find things to do to avoid games. However hope has been restored this season. Yes theres a risk we'll get caught overplaying it and could get beat 4 or 5, but I'd rather we stuck to our principles than try to shut up shop for a draw. We're not going to win the FA Cup so lets just have a go at the scouse twats
  5. Its the socks isnt it 😂
  6. Definitely some nice stuff from Castore but think they've been getting some bad publicity for their supply chain and the quality of kits they provided to Villa, Newcastle and Rangers. Villa had that really sweaty kit 😂. After the Hummel experiment failed I could definitely see the club taking the safe option by returning to Adidas or seeking out Nike (if they're interested)
  7. And a home defeat to Maidstone along the way
  8. Said a while back that we needed to build a gap as March looks pretty difficult for us
  9. I thought Russell Martin was a cunt and should get out of our club 🤷🏼‍♂️
  10. Thats a top class signing (even if its just on loan). Well done Saints. Now lets go get promotion
  11. Yes. Getting pumped 5 or 6 by Liverpool could do alot of damage to our momentum/confidence. I dont see why we couldnt rotate a few out against Milwall at home and still win, and then go to Birmingham with a chance to pick our strongest team
  12. Of course we will
  13. Lol at Ipswich. Hopefully this result and their recent patchy form sends their season into a nosedive 😬
  14. Has he not been injured for a while? Can hardly complain about a lack of gametime. People can moan all they want at the club about this, but we've a winning squad right now and forcing a way into that is difficult. Also, we just have to accept that we're below Brighton in the footballing food chain right now
  15. Want a convincing Leicester win as I dont think we'll catch them. Its all about promotion - 1st, 2nd or even 6th, it ultimately doesnt matter as long as we're back in the PL. Yes it would be good to win a trophy, but would take 2nd place right now
  16. Don't know how much accuracy there is in the latest reporting, or agents putting stories out there, but us and Leeds seem to have been linked with the same targets for a number of years now - Piroe, Benson, Johnson, Perraud, Diallo, Brooks, Paintsil, Duk, Lavia to name just a few
  17. I'll wait until I hear it from somebody else. Nixon's about as reliable as Alex Crook when it comes to transfer news. Set up a patreon account to take peoples money for transfer gossip. A bit like them call lines they used to give in shoot/match magazines
  18. Since we hammered them, they've drawn away to Coventry (not easy), beat WBA at home (definitely not easy) and were denied a win away to Birmingham by a 95th minute equaliser. Will be harder than some think, but if we're serious about 2nd place this season then we need to start winning more away games
  19. And he's played a grand total of 5 games at PSV before picking up another shoulder injury (he had one with us didn't he?). Hardly helping his sell on value
  20. Things can change very quickly in football, particularly for clubs like us when you dont get some important decisions right. Brighton (under Potter) were close to going down 19/20 season and finished below us as recently as 20/21. Bournemouth did go down that 19/20 season and took two seasons to bounce back but are in a much better place now. Both clubs have recruited well managerially and player wise in the last 3 years, whereas our recruitment has suffered (its depressing when you look at the likes of AMN, Lyanco, DCC etc who we brought in), hence our relegation. The thing with clubs like us though, the good times dont last forever, particularly when managers and players eventually get snapped up by bigger clubs. De Zerbi will very likely be gone from Brighton very soon. Iraola if he continues to have success at Bournemouth will have offers for far bigger challenges. Both could be a Pellegrino appointment away from a struggling season and it also only takes 1 or 2 below par transfer windows and you're in the shit. However, one thing which has disappointed me in the last few years is how both clubs have easily surpassed us in the recruitment/scouting stakes. You just need to look at the worldwide scouting network which Brighton are operating, unearthing the likes of Caicedo, Cucarella, Mitoma, Enciso, Estupinan, Adingra, Buonanotte etc. There have been changes to our scouting approach under SR and we identified/signed the likes of Alcaraz so perhaps we'll see some improvement on that front.
  21. No Diallo in the United squad tonight. Unless hes injured, you would expect players like that to be involved for an FA Cup game against Wigan. Unless hes on the move.....
  22. Watford is the new Palace for us when it comes to cup draws 🥱
  23. Maybe Carvalho doesnt like the prospect of playing slow, ponderous, crab-like Russball.... In all seriousness though, sometimes it can come down to a simple preference of the player, for instance living closer to Liverpool. Disappointing to miss out on a quality player but no doubt we'll get a good option in
  24. Theres some amount of idiots on social media these days pretending or claiming to be the next Fabrizio Romano with their insider scoops. Bizarre behaviour for a few extra 'likes'. In fact, Sky Sports employ some of them with those jokers Dharmesh and Kaveh and their 'well placed sources'.
