Redmond's best position is wide on the left, drifting inside where he can either play in the overlapping full back or attacking players through the centre. He's excellent, really good defensive fundamentals as well as being quick and having very good awareness. I actually he's alright on the ball if not spectacular. His one shortcoming at this stage (and is the case with JB and JS) is dominating the defensive area with regards to high balls in, hopefully Lyanco will provide that.

This final is immense, such quality and really entertaining tennis.

Who would be the midfield 3 in today's formation?

They have Champions League on Wednesday and then us on Saturday, which is the only straw I have to clutch. I'd be tempted to change to a back 5 and try and hurt them with our full backs and hope for the best. Might be a mauling.

Defence was excellent today, as was McCarthy. Certainly the way Salisu took Antonio out of the game was very impressive.

Does Broja and Armstrong work? I'd want to keep Broja as far forward as possible and partner him with Adams or similar.

JWP leaving would be a loss, but if we sold him for £50m next season and Diallo is able to step up we would be in a stronger position for it. The £50 would be a very decent keeper and CB.

Yeah. A big part of it is just disappointment. The Athletic with Carl was just such great value during the season before last and now it's just spilling out stuff you can think about for yourself.

What's worst, the apparent double standards of people who care about one thing but don't mention 'every' other injustice in the world. Or people who pretend to care about something they don't?

When I was at uni, before I knew what I was doing, I would write essays by essentially writing out 20 odd points and then turning each of them in to paragraphs - it was shit - this seems to be the approach being used in these Athletics "articles".
